I do not know that I want to cut the conversation short here, but I do not feel that Dan deserves to be TR. However, we seem to be rushing towards a lynch without giving him (and others) some more time to chime in. Are we sure that’s the right approach?
Also, if Dan flips Scum, then it’s possible that Tn is the Partner. Nanook probably does not make sense as Scum at that point, or Tommy.
If Dan flips Town, well then I think Town is screwed.
Actually, Nanook, you and I all ended up arguing that Dusk was Town. I took way too long - Nanook was much more consistent, and so were you. It’s possible to some extent that one of you was TMI’ing, but it is spectacularly unlikely (I think) that the both of you are the Scum Team. It just does not seem like it. So I will assume for today that the two of you are just Town.
Dan’s early reasoning for voting Dusk (and constant shade) looks much worse in retrospect. Particularly #94 and #99. StarV was willing to counter the votes on Dusk early with a vote on ActionDan (#71). So I am going to guess that the options for Scum Team here are either {StarV, M2H} or {ActionDan, Tn5421}. However, StarV was not on Town early, but destroyed some of that credibility by hammering Dusk. So I am a bit torn about what to do.
Dusk knows M2H best out of all of us. And both DS and Dusk were willing to give M2H TR’s, despite some pretty erroneous reads where it mattered. So if we ignore M2H for now, that really makes Dan almost a needed flip.
its more an intuitive thing than something that I can explain but if I had to point to something its probably the over the top questioning that honestly comes across as nervous and like you really don’t care much about the answer. I feel like when you comment on something or ask a question you are literally only doing it to make yourself look like the winner in w/e engagement.
thats probably not entirely what it is but idk when I read your posts my mind literally screams you’re scum.
also #1082 is a woat shade, you are literally just trying to discredit me because you know I’ve been pushing you today.
Tbh I don’t think you get much credit for that move off Dusk. Yeah, you didn’t end the day with a vote on him, great, you also didn’t put your vote anywhere else either. Best way to save one player is to kill another and you didn’t really try to do that, so you don’t get really get points now for hand wringing
if you look at d1 andres repeatedly goes back to talking about self-meta, commenting whenever he’s making a “suboptimal” move from scum!him’s pov to get town cred, asking really pointed questions, and that has continued today.
andres has a poe that literally includes everybody except nanook (which I agree with)… and… tommy, and his reasoning for tommy being a tr is that he read dusk correctly (which he obv could do as scum because he’d know) which is… interesting ig.
I don’t really disagree with the conclusion that we should be killing on the Dusk wagon today, I think there’s almost always at least one scum there (if we count Andres as being on it there’s always at least one, fun fact), but yeah his reasoning there has been pretty shoddy.
kinda want to vote andres/tommy here but also kind of afraid to lead anything after being wrong on dusk yesterday (even tho that wasn’t entirely me but i pushed it so w/e I take the blame)
Look, we can debate Andres/Tommy tomorrow (and I don’t disagree that they’re good places to look fwiw), but for today we’re basically always killing on the Dusk wagon. You get why, right?
Unless ypu can make a rock solid airtight case against one of those two, they’re tomorrow’s problem.
I mean, unless you make the world’s most convincing case on him, I’m not killing Andres today. You can convince me tomorrow. But today, we’re going to pull our heads out of our asses (and so help me Elli I will drag your heads out of your asses if I have to), and we’re going to play pretending we’re smart and good and pretty.
