And I do very much remember Josh saying that MS was scum. I’m pretty tempted there. To lynch him, that is. What are the reasons not to ?

You have totally changed your read of urist even though he has proven he is race cop (assuming everyone who knows flavour agrees that he did reveal my race; me I don’t know as it’s not said in my role PM but he was posting on that theme so much that imo he simply has to have that role). MS did, in his words, let slip he was a special on D1 (if you could call a blatant soft claim a ‘slip’) but now he’s claimed VT. Scum might’ve believed the soft claims but I don’t know why’d they’d branch out to you

In some games the scum team are allowed to word there on jail message.
Well some games, One game I was in as scum we could word our own messages
So it is possible that Metal or Mantis said they were jailed when they weren’t.
We only assume they have to jail themself for the message.
I don’t see MS as likely scum because I can’t for the life of me see why CABD would frame a scum buddy.
I’ve never played a game where scum can word their action’s PM…can’t see ffery doing that, as she’s way creative
Well, I’d agree it involves some guessing, but we still had Doc Screenplay at the time who then claimed to have protected Andres where one might otherwise have thought our Doc might indeed protect the “awesome role” of MS. IF Screen indeed prevented the mafia kill and it wasn’t a mafia ruse of witholding a kill it would give some creedence to what is now being claimed as false that MS could prevent his own night kill. We know Sceen’s Doc role was genuine and that he protected Andres (which mafia would not have known), so MS’s holding off the Doc protection would at least appear to be townish in allowing the now confirmed Doc to protect elsewhere (or protect a town power role if we consider MS’s present claim of VT as honest)…
Now, I also agree if we approach the MS shoo as mafia motivated, why not simply have the Town Doc waste a protect on MS? Of course, we’d have to also consider that the cabd false track on MS was simply to build town cred for MS, and the MS shoo as intended to build on that.

And I’d agree with cats that given Urist’s claim of being D1 blocked without given a block message, odds are good that the GM would NOT give a block message where none is essential; not that we’ve established that MS was indeed blocked, even though the prevalent thought is that cabd indeed visited MS, but to block and not track, and on the same night MS relates they first sleptwalked.
TL;DR, Yeah, I guess with your comment and MS’s current claim it maybe isn’t as slam-dunk townish as it might have otherwise been. MS certainly knew we (town) was trying to work game balance based on his claim of a town super role.

But clearly town was and has been trying to sort claims based on what would balance as a game. This is pretty standard for most closed setups, and you have known this was engaged since early in the game when my slot claimed at their first post in the game;
And then further detailed we are “Elim Garak”, who is a Cardassian.
I agree that reviewing flips of players after they’ve been removed from the game is more certain than “guesses”, and that’s the point - remaining players, remaing TOWN players have been trying to gauge the veracity of claims from living players. When a player claims an awesome town power do you not think that effects who may or may not then be lynched? Screen, our Town Doc may very well have gotten lynched over it, and I can’t imagine it didn’t effect thoughts on the cabd lynch.
And whether your character is town or mafia I disagree as a player that flase claims from either side do not encourage guesses on game balance, because they certainly have, even from you on cabd, among others.
I can’t think of anyone that would… it’s not town otherwise someone would fess up. The only thing I can think of is that maybe an MS scum wanted to confirm what he’s said about it? Or scum dont believe that I’m VT? Or it’s a random thing.
I’m not that convinced that urist is scum at all.
