Hm… isn’t that strange… @Phone0Ix anything to say?
I did say roleblocking was a better mechanic after all.
I’ve said stuff about him in #344 #345 #351
351 is wrong about it being his second post, but its still one of his first few so I think the point still stands.
Well I for one am the best player ever
youre forgetting about me
town god youbutworse
I thought for a while and I think this is what we do
Since Phone is the attacking killer… we make him attack our scumreads. If he doesn’t comply, he gets tickled and loses.
Didnt you suggest Heart Rate?
… yea
gods wrong sometimes
Looks like you can post in threads during night here… oops.
Been catching up a little bit on what I hadn’t read yesterday, real life day.
I like how Andres plays this D1, analyzing the talk about Specialist and drawing conclusions from his analysis, not just leaving it at mechanical talk. The quote above is an example of this behavior. I agree with most of his points on the matter, although “it doesn’t matter who gets executed” isn’t true (execute scum, not town, that’s mafia 101?).
That being said, Spak also is somewhat towny (or at least not scummy) for holding his ground even though his position on “helping the Specialist” received quite a lot of flak due to claims of it being anti-town. In the situation he was in, since people were attacking the idea and those who were the most active in supporting it (GoldenGirl), he could have just let the fact that he had first suggested it be forgotten instead of posting this:
As a summary: Andres and Spak are my townreads, in that order.
Also, I’m gonna use “execute” to replace the REAL word that apparently is literally censored here…
well we ought to make sure we don’t accidentally kill 2 more towns otherwise they can rise up against us in 50/50 votes and maybe seth will RNG it, or if we kill 3 towns somehow then we prob just lose.
My townreads are… me myself and I
If they try to rise up in a 50/50 then we just beat them? They have to vote each other or else one has a confirmed loss
Its more of a confirmed lose if they keep allowing Town to have majority imo, since town would hesitate to vote the attacking killer under the plan you’re proposing
A post from D1:
How is “picking out a specific post” a bad thing at all? You’re doing exactly that right now lol. Cognitive dissonance? Also, I said she was trying to look town too hard, not that she was being “too towny” or “putting too much effort into the game”; that would be completely absurd. I said she was trying to look towny.
The posts you linked are absolutely not high-effort or highly useful. #61 is just mechanical discussion. NAI. #47 is literally saying how she reads people; it’s a comment on herself, putting this in “that high effort content” is completely inappropriate. This really looks like a made-up case, especially considering your meta of sticking to logic. (This is MM, btw, hiii!)
Your next posts don’t really improve about me (pushing people isn’t scummy, and is actually the exact thing that must be done to solve the game, so “I hardly see him solving” is ???), although I completely share your reasoning here:
I am tempted to vote you, but the potential mindmeld on Andres is keeping me from it atm. Will evaluate the next posts.
To clarify, are you claiming to have roleblocked Phoenix last night? If so, there’s an even better path. We don’t execute him for now and you keep RBing him. This way noone gets killed (you’d obviously get killed tonight if we were to execute him after you revealed, since chances are you couldn’t RB the killer).
And by the way, a killer has zero benefit in helping us if he knows we’re gonna execute him anyway. There’s no point in taking that risk when we could just prevent kills from happening instead.
Back to Martin.
Your reasons for scumreading me are bad, and certainly not good enough to justify a massive tunnel lol. There is a major gap between your case’s strenght and your confidence in your read. VOTE: MartinGG99
Why in the world would you suggest this as non-killer for ANY reason? This can expose the Specialist if you’re town. But if you’re killer, this can help you in some way. This is an horrible post lol.
I do not understand why Benedict was executed at all. I don’t see how he was scummy, and I really don’t see how we’d reach a majority against him. Looks like you don’t really either. I’m torn between reading this as town not jumping on a weird wagon and scum wanting to let a probably bad execution happen without hopping on it. In other words, I don’t have a real read on you lol.
Would you care to explain why you scumread GoldenGirl? You’ve left us guessing about your reasons.
You hammered a wagon you had literally NEVER commented on. Your only post with a slight relation to it is this one:
Which isn’t a reasoning. I want to push Martin for now, but big FoS on @YoubutWorse for this.
I wasn’t even sure why people were voting them (I think it just had to do with lowposter), but I had no other real scumreads so I just wanted to end the day. Plus if we hit a killer that wouldve been sick
