Stormy Seas (NSIMI Game A)

This is interesting. My assumption was that the mafia team would know the sizes of each game, but would not know which (town) players would be involved in either game. That is still how I interpret Nanook’s wording.

But I am interested in Doggo’s post here because he is presenting a possibility that I had not even considered, and which seems unlikely to have been considered at all by a person who did not earnestly interpret the wording that way. Unless, of course, Doggo’s interpretation is the correct one and he is able to assert it with confidence because he knows it to be the truth, in which case he just blatantly scum slipped on the kickoff. I’ve never played with Doggo before, but I’d put that down as unlikely.

UNVOTE DoggoPlays

You are using terminology that I do not fully understand, but I have played exactly 0 games with every person in this thread.

I expect to read all of you brilliantly.

I mean games played doesn’t designate how much above rand you expect to read someone.

Basically how much better would you do than someone randing their read on a particular person. The vast majority of people are around rand on almost everyone else despite how else they think.

@chesskid3

please broadcast to game 1 that key is town thanks.

you and doggo tbh

I care about none of this.

Tell me what you think of the content that exists in this thread so far.

Irrelevant.

im sure you disagree that my read on you is above rand tho :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t really care about content - I’ll probably have 1 or 2 of your aligments before the end of the game day and if they’re right I’ll be NK’d and if they’re wrong I’ll be lynched.

I know from reading your stuff that we’re at polar opposites for what we think is correct in Mafia but I’m not going to budge. Happy to talk about theory but it’s up to you if you want to engage in that in game.

Interesting. What do you think would be relevant? What is your typical Day 1 approach?

Time allowing I review notes I have on individual players/review games for players I’m less familiar with. Find 1 or 2 alignment indicative things from those that may or may not be related to what people perceive as content. Eventually reach sufficient tics for said alignment indicative things to get a sufficiently above rand lynch. Get night killed.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Already engaged.

forgive my clunky emoji use here. i’m used to a different set of smilies that are absolutely essential to my communication in games.

I can install an emoji package if you have it.

But yeah, I could care less about going over thought process and stuff like that. Find it’s usually irrelevant or barely above rand outside of very specific situations and tends to red herring more often than not.

What constitutes “alignment indicative things” if you do not care about content?

I can provide links to games I’ve played if you like.

I hope that I will constitute a very specific situation.

I think sloonei is probably town.

its good already have them :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t like going over specifics but it’s different for different people. Some have time stamp related things others have word choice related things, others have specific habits with voting etc.

Most habits that I find workable are more unconscious than not.

We may not be as opposite as you think.

Why?
