This game probably can’t have a traditional blocker if our role PM is indicative. We don’t have to specify one of us doing the kill. So if there is a block ability I’d imagine it happens at the neighborhood level. The same issue would apply to tracking etc. I suppose that’s within the realm of possibility.
Maybe the scum team has an ability that takes place at the neighborhood level, and town abilities are all resolvable to a single target.
With the neighborhood shared ability mechanic, they have more knowledge of the town night game than is typical. Say one of the neighborhoods has a doctor ability. If there are scum in it, then they know who to avoid trying to kill.
The Elli/Josh neighborhood is probably all town now. I’m kinda assuming this neighborhood is all town though it goes against my paranoid, suspicious nature to make the assumption.
At any rate, the final scum knows at least one neighborhood’s plan for tonight. And may be able to figure out our likely action/target based on the twilight posts.
It could be a Cult game, no scum. Way back when someone ran a game themed from Carpenter’s movie The Thing. You started with 1 scum. They could kill or recruit. But only the player who recruited you knew you were scum/cult. Then you could recruit one person, same deal. The idea was to have lonely killer scum wandering around not aware of each other’s IDs. Never got past 2 Things at one time and it was a longish game, town had multiple day shots.
