That may change to 3. Morph’s waiting on t’other part of its brain and I don’t want to make it a majority til they have a chance to input.
I know some people hate them, but I like cult games. I’ve seen scum forced to ally with town and stuff.
Functionally speaking, I had the option to go with either the first person to vote the target visits, or having the entire hood visit. For this game, the second one is what would happen (and I will be rectifying this in future games)
Theoretical situation a: you go through with the chesskid vig shot, and someone Watches chesskid. the watcher sees all members of this hood visit chesskid.
Theoretical situation b: you go through with the chesskid vig shot, and someone tracks a member of your hood. They see the member they track visit chesskid.
The entire hood visiting!
We best start baking cookies or something.
Hey morph, have your heads synced up yet?
Somewhat. We wanted to nail down watch/track, and I was obviously off base with my earlier spec!
Cabd would like to hold the vig shot tonight, but we both feel like the rationales for killing chesskid are decent.
Added specifics.
Reason for holding back? Just caution, want to be more certain?
Who is your strongest scumread and how strong is your read?
Screenplay.
Not real strong.
It’s either a mutual suspicion or he has a thing about prehistoric cats.
I keep wondering if I know him from somewhere and that unresolved memory makes him look sus to me.
Otherwise I really need more time to sort who is who and whether I recall them saying it or it was someone else. I’m so used to large identifying avatars, here I have to squint to see which pink-haired personage I’m responding to.
Yeah I know everyone has a name, but I’m a visual information processor first and verbal secondary. I’ll get there!
But yeah, screenplay reads aggressive scum to me.
Which probably means scum is some quiet player who’s barely registered.
I feel like this isn’t a deeply thought out kill. We’re talking about shooting chesskid, but his whole neighborhood is a question mark. None of them voted Riley. None of them are townreads, for me anyway.
We might come to a completely different conclusion about target if we wait a day.
Or, not.
The other side of the coin is distance to endgame. Realistically, we get one shot. slight chance of two if we shoot town tonight and we’re willing to pretty much take the game into our own hands on night 3.
The argument for shooting chesskid is that he didn’t town it up on day 1, right?
And some sense that of the people in his neighborhood, he’s not the most town?
I’d like more data to develop a read from. We don’t have to worry that we’ll all die and not get to use the ability at least once.
Makes sense.
The mechanics of a kill are different in this kind of game.
I just spent four game nights making sure somebody got nk’d before daybreak, so I’m a bit in kill mode still.
I am kinda curious what sort of drama voting us was supposed to ignite. And I’m curious if that was a town-chesskid or scum-chesskid tactic.
It did kickstart the game pretty strongly.
It did? I thought it fizzled.
Really? Maybe it was just me that started paying more attention.
I admit to not thoroughly rereading the game day, and that was this this morning, or two cold medicine doses ago.
(I’ve been using these emojis in a pretty off label way, their cutesiness irritates me)
