This game has been concluded to be scored a draw/canned/no result due to mod.
How this resulted was there was a omission of a key line in the term clarification post of the which explicitly included the targets of no one/nothing as valid.
As well there is pre conceived context to the word mandatory in terms of actions which did also increase confusion of many players. A different word for this purpose (say compulsory) which did not have this connotation would have better fit what intended purpose of what was stated. Which was as mentioned in dead chat that a submission is needed to be made to avoid randomization. As long as that submission included the /command that associated with that action the action was valid.

I do apologize for this confusion regarding these two instances and will strive to be more clear in my intent the rules that I would enforce when organizing games. I do apologize to all players that the game did have to have a result like this and that it dose show poorly upon this community, site and on my self and that is on me to take.

So the Mafia actually chose to shoot “No One” and that counted. So my dumb train of thought was spot on but couldn’t be considered due to language. Incredible.

to be fair the OP straight lied
Basically mandatory night kill didn’t actually mean mandatory because loophole says “you can target ‘no one’ legally”

That’s not a loophole. That’s a straight error. You can’t say mandatory NK and there not be a mandatory NK hahaha shooting “No One” can’t rationally be thought of as a acceptable choice given the wording. Otherwise it’s straight meaningless.
