A mafia faction kill would only be able to be performed by specific people. A randomized action executor would have to have the ability to perform that action. That action would be assigned to them and any motion that would have resulted from said action would be seen.

Regarding the nature of faction kill they do fall under the category of a mandatory action for the purposes of randomization if there was no action submitted that night.

Motion detector is not limited in what motion it sees.

This is the key bit. How can I ever understand this to mean anything but if an NK is submitted, the player performing it would be seen by the Motion Detector. There’s no mechanical argument to be made. I knew I lost then.

As well there is pre conceived context to the word mandatory in terms of actions which did also increase confusion of many players. A different word for this purpose (say compulsory) which did not have this connotation would have better fit what intended purpose of what was stated. Which was as mentioned in dead chat that a submission is needed to be made to avoid randomization. As long as that submission included the /command that associated with that action the action was valid.

Even compulsory is the wrong word. But I don’t know why you would rand an action if “none” is a valid target. Seems counterintuitive.

I’m honestly a bit frustrated by the explanations provided by the Mod after my questions were submitted, particularly after EVERY player in the game misunderstood your instructions.
