OMGUS: Oh My God You Suck
It’s kinda a dumb acronym but basically it’s saying like the thing you did is dumb no matter alignment

You read for 20 minutes and found nothing? What were you looking for? Do you have game baised questions?

It doesn’t feel like we’re using that much (especially compared to other sites), I think mafia universe has a acronym guide if you want, I bet @orangeandblack5 could link

Im interested in figuring out which roles we likely have at our disposal

can you stop asking people this

I’d prefer to not out all the PRs to scum D1

@EricH

can you explain this

and is this like ‘you think they’re all kind of wolfy so probably at least one is actually a wolf’ or ‘you think something about their interactions makes it likely there’s at least one wolf’ or ‘statistically if you name three people there’s a 60 percent chance that one is scum’

Luckily orange is dummy smart

Notice I didn’t ask anyone else :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

oh my god you suck

basically, voting someone just because they’re pushing you, without actually trying to evaluate if their push comes from scum or from town

None of the above, but closest to 2.

I’m not looking at those three in a vacuum–I’m looking at them in the context of the thread, and what I recall of various playstyles.

alright

so

what about the context of the thread, and what you recall of various playstyles makes you think that at least one is Empire

ftr orange I was planning pre-rand to vote you in my first post regardless of my alignment

but then I slept through RVS

:wowee:

this is where you make fun of my sleep schedule

is anyone around who wants to talk about reads

otherwise I’m probably going to go look at Isos for a bit

Orange moved to pocket all three.

Last time he tried that in a CDFM round, all the people he pocketed were all scum (or deceived). He plays power wolf very well.

My guess is that if one of the four flips Empire, at least one more also will. Whether all of them do sets up a WIFOM* situation.

That said, I’m not 100% sure, and I’m not sure enough to vote.

*Wine In Front Of Me, from The Princess Bride, Battle of Wits scene. Often used in Mafia contexts for situations where the background of the players results in logical loops that don’t work–can someone elaborate further?

Those two seem like they’re at the same power level?
ACop you just say “wow this person scum”
Tracker you get to do fancy inquiries and catch people telling lies

Acop easier to play but aren’t they about equally successful

I’m not sure he went this far, since some people don’t know of this behavior
(i.e. myself ._.)

i do not disagree with the notion that orange is awfully pockety today

so are you scumreading Orange, then? I kind of don’t like preflipping people, but

I mean the easiest way to know if orange is maf or if the maf like him is if he stays alive past day 2 or 3, we have a habit of killing him early

okay but catching people telling lies as Tracker is strictly worse than as A-cop

like, let’s say you’re Tracker, and you target someone who visits no one

this tells you ~nothing about their alignment

whereas if you’re Acop then you know for sure their alignment (minus the LW), which is way stronger

I guess Tracker could have some utility in that if you track someone visiting somewhere, and that person later flips wolf PR, it can tell you about the person they visited’s alignment?

disagree

in my experience the easiest way to know is to look at what alignment the people he was pushing flipped and assume he’s the opposite

that works too
