:man_shrugging:
guess I just have more experience/luck as tracker?

if I was first I would’ve had a hard time deciding

Lean, not read, at this point.

He’s a remarkably consistent player in how he plays. Therefore, my default is to be at least somewhat suspicious of him. I may or may not vote (or shoot at  ) him–but it’s generally worth keeping an eye out.

Re: Tracker–I think it was CDFM3 that I first drew that one. Caught a Goon (@gellnick) faking Tracker, then got lucky and targeted the death that night (I forget if it was the deceased or the assassin). Instant Goon elimination (followed by Tracker elimination courtesy of the Mafia). Still lost (we were down pretty far before we started getting people out) but the remaining Mafia had to suddenly play defense. Basically, if someone who either gets lucky or thinks like the current group of scum is in the role, it’s really really powerful (if they can stay alive)–otherwise you’re correct on the Acop likely being better.

erich is really formal
im intimidated

Huh, apparently double bolding is a thing.
also, i love sandwiches lol

That bad?

Just trying to avoid certain terms due to connotations (and forum requests). It’s if I start talking like the British AND being formal that y’all need to start worrying.

(On a semi-related note, I have to go back to work on Monday. There goes a lot of time… 9A-6P Pacific don’t expect much out of me, because I’m not paid to play Mafia.)

@Arete still here?

no it’s fine

i feel unintentionally peer pressured to be serious?
i think that’s a good thing?

Anyone else think orange is uncharacteristically passive?

Like y’all remember that first game he played when he was town?

no and no

how are any of these passive
he’s not accusatory but he’s pretty active and leading (or trying to, i guess)

I… honestly doubt that

Sorry :man_shrugging:

here ish

what’s up

also this

this man practically began the game with a VT claim which is… non-optimal?
VTs should serve as cannon fodders

I’ve been trying out playing differently recently and the fact that there are a bunch of 4’s pushed me over the edge for the reason you said on your opener lol

wait
walk me through that logic

he’s angry that I said I would choose [1][1] (while not aligned) and voted + yelled at me

this is towny because…?

like im just reading back at this point
but any kind of reveal seems bad, even for a VT

and with my logic that you’re agreeing to, it looks like you’re saying “wowee im town thanks”

Imagine Mafia wasting a chance to get a PR by doubling up on numbers that have already been claimed

I think Bepwei is >rand town for it too

I claimed 4’s because we’re highly stacked and >>>rand one or less is scum

I claimed VT because that’s the hip new thing all the cool kids are doing

Basically

If the scum kill me

Then clearly my reads are right and the people I thought were towny are town and the people I thought were scummy are scum

However, because the scum know that’s how that will be interpreted, maybe they killed me specifically to make you all think my reads were good, when actually they were wrong and following them will help the scum out

Situations like that are what is meant by WIFOM - circular logic created when trying to figure out what somebody has done when they knew their actions were going to be scrutinized.

he says he chose 1-1 specifically to screw you over for announcing your pre-rand selection

I think he’s telling the truth about his choice + reasoning and I think town is much more likely to have that thought process than scum, whereas I think scum would be much more focused on trying to get a good role
