I may or may not have a guilty to out later.
Intriguing.
Can you just out it now? Or do we have to sit around and wait while you ponder?
Iām rather annoyed that Mylo self-hammered - I was just complaining about that!
Whatever I was going to say about the rest of Day 3 is maybe not particularly meaningful - the next lynch has got to come from {Nanook, Ellibereth, Urist}. If we do anything else at this stage we deserve to lose. There is guaranteed Scum in that group.
I have some thoughts on Cats as follows - if Mafia has a Strongman (and Cats is not Scum), the incentive to NK Elwood is enormous. Not only does it remove a Confirmed Town from the game - it turns the rest of us immediately against Cats who came out and claimed to be able to protect him. It doesnāt help that Elwood was arguing strongly that his death should result in Catspurr being lynched the next day (#836). I expressed concerns towards the end of Day 3 about how Catspurr was wielding the claimed power. But now I realize I was only contributing to exactly what weāre facing right now - a situation where it almost seems too easy and logical to lynch Cats. And I canāt shake this feeling that weāre being manipulated. I had the view that Cats wouldnāt so obviously lynch Town on Day 1 - from looking back, what I am seeing is that Catsā play has been erratic, but I am not seeing a Scum mindset.
VOTE: Nanook
You, on the other hand, are pushing the easy out. You have successfully avoided a lynch two days in a row, while Town continue to fall. Itās time we eliminate whatās been in front of us all along.
If anybody not in the lynch pool I highlighted can build a solid case against any of the other two, Iām listening. Elli has been throwing shade against Mylo all game, and Urist stopped a lynch against Nanook to mislynch Mylo.
@Srceenplay, can you share what you have? Itās critical that we get this right.
Of course scum would kill Elwood knowing they had a strongeman.
I was hopping that they did not have a strongman kill left and would kill me.
It seemed a fair gamble.
Both Elwood and me lost the gamble.
If we have lost the game because of my gamble, I apologise.
Why you are picking me out for lynching town titus when it took 5 or was it 6 to lynch I donāt know.
After all, it was day one and most of the time day one lynch is a mislynch.
Be interesting to see what Ellibereth says about his mylo read.
Why would you vote when we have someone claiming a possible investigative role.
You people are being super loose with your votes.
That is a super sketchy vote. Looks like you already planned on getting Nanook lynched regardless of Srceenās possible guilty result.
Sketchy? Why? Are we close to a lynch? Am I shutting the conversation down? Are we not going to hear from Srceenplay?
I am making my intentions clear prior to Srceenplay revealing whatever it is they have. The point here is to make it crystal clear Iām not sharing a view purely because another claim occurs. If my view changes because of the claim, it will be clear why.
And if Nanook is town? You know that we might be in lylo, right?
Except Nanook voted first. So heās clearly not concerned about Lylo now is he? If heās wrong, heās just lost us the game as Town. And if Iām Scum and thatās the case, I would rush to just vote Cats in Lylo to end the game. But I didnāt do that. So weāre either not in Lylo, or Nanook is Scum and weāre in Lylo, or weāre in Lylo and both Nanook and Cats are Scum.
If catspurr is scum and you and Nanook are town then we might lose with your vote.
If we only need 4 votes to lynch. and there are 3 scum, then one town voting a town player can lose the game? Yes?
I am hoping that there may only be two scum because of all the strongman kills.
Not only Elwood, which unsubtatiated as far as town is concerned, (yes I could be scum)ā
But also, because the serial killer had some king of bulletproof and still dies night one.
Scum having infinite strongman would be total bs so Iām not sure I buy it. Could be odd-night strongman or some shit but idk. Gonna wait til Srceen claims before making any more speculations.
Hint hint @Srceenplay
Fine.
I still think itās total BS. And Cats is still posting, so Iām not sure you have it right at all.
VOTE: Unvote
Im busy atm.
That is some very flawed logic, nicely done with the contortions though.
Orrrrr thereās a vig that shot the SK N1, and cats is lying scum.
Honestly, Iām surprised that everyone jumped to āMafia have a strongman!ā over the possibility of there being a vig.
Itās a closed set up, I honestly donāt know why weāre making so many assumptions about the roles that arenāt really backed up one way or the other by what we do actually know.
In all honesty, I think most of the role talk is distracting, and taking us away from finding the scum, not closer towards it.
Vote Count 4.1
Catspurr (1): Nanook
Not Voting (6): Andres, Erika Furudo, Ellibereth, catspurr, Urist, Srceenplay
Autolock: 30 minutes after the time of this post
With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.
Day 4 deadline: July 9, 2018 6:00 AM (Europe: Paris), July 8, 2018 9:00 PM (America: Los Angeles)
So my logic is flawed now?
If thereās a 1-Shot Vig (presumably aligned with Town), why did they shoot Muffin? And why would they do so N1? And how did they get over the bulletproof ability of the SK? I have yet to see anybody write that Muffin was likely Scum D1. So how was the Vig so accurate?
None of what you are arguing makes any sense. Literally the only reason I pulled my vote is to ensure that Srceenplay shares what they have in the low probability scenario that you are Town and Catspurr is Scum. You have yet to explain why Scum!Cats would claim yesterday for example. Why make yourself such an obvious target D3 with 9 people and at least 2 days to go? If Cats was claiming today, I would maybe share your skepticism. I still think Cats should have never claimed. But claiming in and of itself does not make her Scum.
You are also attacking people for making assumptions about the setup while suggesting one yourself. And using it to justify your belief that Cats is lying!
@Srceenplay where are you?
