Deep Space 9 Mafia - Game Over!

What’s this list? Scum list?

(Where Nanook is least likely to be scum and Andresmvb is most likely to be scum?)

Urist was a rvs Vote. No reason to keep it on him. It’s not productive when I don’t see him as scum atm.

Why would you not believe something I claim but believe something someone claims about me?

screen does not have an inno btw

Haha you know I really should have tried to stick more to facts than twist words to make arguments. And I am reasonable! The end goal might not always be what most other people want it to be, that’s all.

@Srceenplay you are going to have to explain how it is that you got to use your investigative powers N0 because I have a nagging suspicion that this is not true. I’ll be the first to acknowledge that I don’t have enough experience to figure it out, so I’ll leave it for others to educate me here.

@Parsec, so you just don’t like my approach to the game, and that makes me Scum? So if I shortened my thoughts, that would mean that you would see me differently? I can get long winded at times, sure. But all you have highlighted are some jokes that relate to a different game, and said that my concern for the wagon on Urist is fake (and that my explanation for it was too long, instead of disagreeing with any of the content). Okay, what about it is fake?

I am getting the cluelessness vibes from AKFD for sure, but not the scuminess. I need to really make a ranking myself and figure out where I stand.

@skitter30 Link to srceen lying about having a guilty as town starts here and continues for ~20 posts: Flip Flappers Mafia [TOWN WIN]

I remember this very clearly. This was used against me because I didn’t wait until Srceenplay revealed that it wasn’t true before voting.

I have some additional thoughts on the game as I re-read, but I don’t have much time to post right now so I’ll be quick: Over time, figuring out whether Srceenplay has this claimed investigative ability should not be a difficult task (since we’ll get some more insights). So, if the ability is there, Cats is cleared. If not, and Srceenplay is lying, it might not make him Scum by default but I think he would then be heavily suspected. Would Scum tie themselves to another Scum player so early? I’m inclined to say no. So either way, I am coming to the conclusion that Cats is most likely Town/Prophet. If Srceenplay is lying and is Town, and was using it as an argument to have Nanook simply look elsewhere, then just ignore everything I wrote. I will say this: Srceenplay does not strike me as a high risk high reward kind of player, particularly as Town, so I don’t think that’s what’s happening. My 2 cents.

I’m not following.
Are you saying I’m town or scum?

Look at that VC. Our consensus sucks.

How about just voting with me and see what happens.

I think that Cats is likely Town. I haven’t made up my mind about you. My initial read was that we got the same Town version of you I had to play against, though I see you as slightly more aggressive than the last game we played.

I can’t say I’m not skeptical of your claim, because I am. I just don’t perceive you as being high risk, so that tempers my skepticism somewhat.

We need more content from a few players. Muffin in particular I’m interested to see how he’s looking at things, since I advocated for his death when I was Scum because in my view his thinking is sound.

Skitter I have a strong positive lean on. I am leaning this way because of her analysis of Nanook’s proposal, and just the overall way she has approached the game so far.

If I had to place a vote at this stage, I would go for MS. I am skeptical of the vote on Urist, and I haven’t seen much in the form of content. The only other comment we’ve gotten was something unrelated to the game thus far.

Can you explain this?

VOTE: Catspurr

The vote on MS seems contrived to me due to the format of the accusation ending with a ? and that some of the logic behind it relies on assessing _fferyllt/muffin’s two posts to be town. In the two times Catspurr has been accused of floating along by both Urist and Nanook, she has to yet to address either even when given a direct prompt by skitter in her #113. This reluctance to respond lends credence to their meta assessments neither of which I thought was particularly compelling at the time.

I’m voting Andres

Because I trust Urist more than I trust you.

Great, but, like, why do you need an excuse to move it, instead of just…ya know…moving it.

Calling his bluff, or do you actually know this?

I find myself agreeing with the arguments you are making, funny enough. The vote itself does not seem based on much more than a Town read on Muffin which I find hard to justify (not that I Scum read Muffin, there just isn’t much there), and I believe you are referencing the following posts from Nanook and Urist, which Cats has yet to address properly, or rather seems to have mostly ignored?

I would have expected the Town!Cats I played with to be a little more outraged at these accusations (kind of like the reaction Cats had for Nanook’s reveal strategy). Instead, a whole lot of ignoring and focusing on other stuff.

This obviously focuses mostly on the play. Above, I was focused on Srceenplay’s claim and what I think it means for Cats. Do you have any thoughts on Srceenplay’s claim and what it could mean?

Screenplay is making it up completely 100%.
