I really disliked his vote for Andres. It seemed opportunistic. And his reaction afterward (“omg guys vote now i’m done with this game omggg”) seemed a bit fake, like he was trying to go for an emotional justification for his Andres vote after I called him out on it.
well… I’m not going to vote cats
About me or about MS?
about you…
That’s why the killing of smilodon is like killing us both. Smilodon explains it even better than I have in my big interview here. It’s true that I don’t think the game is a game of lying - not exactly. But for most folk maybe it equates to the same thing. For me, it’s a psychological game of imaginative overlays - like constructing a novel or a rpg. It’s roleplaying. So, esp. if scum, I construct a world where I am not scum, and stay true to that world. If asked enough details to disassemble that world, then yeah, I’m usually caught. But players rarely ever do that. It’s not as simple as asking if I’m Town - one has to dig deeper than that. But if asked sincerely, truly enough, then yes, it’s a tell. You saw the effort I put into initially answering cats, right? And you’ve seen how earnestly and repeatedly you’ve asked? Those would certainly be morally problematic for a scum pyx, enough for the mirror to crack. and the picture of Dorian Gray to be seen or at least hinted at. cats likely is gifted enough to see those cracks. And I’m town here in either case. BUT, we shouldn’t have doubts over it going into LYLO, not on my quirk, but on any Miller claim.
I think any of MS, Andres, cats, or Urist are a possibility here. It isn’t necessarily the associatives that were mentioned, 'cause I think we have those for at least on a loooonnng 2-day period. But known mafia certainly had as a theme a priority of distancing from each other. But that points mostly and in order to MS, cats, Mantis, and Urist. But MS and cats went to L-1 distancing, if it’s one of them. I’ve decided for myself that it’s NOT you. And as guilty as Urist seems, going back to yesterday where most everyong including Urist said to conditionally lynch where all those conditions have been met repeatedly, he still would have had to have seen something maybe that had him guess “Quark”, AND/OR the RaceCop is scum in a game where there’s a Miller, AND, the RaceCop has to be doing 3 things at once (IF the sleepwalk is a role that is apart from the actual killing).
So I think all that points to either Andres and his VT Orb Collector who gets an extra power but then targets a player known to not have an Orb (me) and/or maybe the dead guy who’s dead (Josh), or it points to MS. With MS it’s all the don’t lynch the Sooper Power who’s a VT stuff, together with the cabd fake claim that maybe was designed AFTER the start of D2 to try and clear at least one of them where neither of them seemed willing to you know, actually vote the other. BUT, the sleepwalk thing, I can’t figure. I could see MS self-targeting once, but twice? No way. Unless either one claim is false ('cause 2 being false would just seem dumb), or it isn’t a kill or redirect possession or even a role (unless maybe the fruit vendor or “reverse fruit vendor” thing cabd mentioned (that seemed weird at the time)), but maybe a game mechanic kind of thing - none of which we can figure out anyway.
And then IF the Sleepwalker is a role, but especially if it is not, there’s the 13-player thing, where 9-3-1 is better balanced, which would mean the Sleepwalker may be Indie and separate from a third mafia killer, or the Sleepwalker is or was even a Lost Wolf or Town Traitor, who a Scum!cabd wouldn’t necessarily have known, but the Sleepwalker knows.
I’m not hoping I’ll be lynched, because it’ll hurt the Team. But if I am, it is what it is. You know I don’t like this defeatist attitude.
And I would recommend you don’t do this just so that there’s a record of who was willing to vote you if you’re Town.

But why though? Just because you can’t make sense of game dynamics does not mean that the one guy who has a confirmed night action which is easy to understand and not in question is the one to doubt as the Scum. Unless you want to make an argument as to why I might be Scum (Mantis tried to, which I respect), then I’m going to have a problem with this. Cats is willing to vote for me, clearly, but I can’t recall him explaining really why for example. It’s almost like the scoring system that was proposed is truly the only reason why I’m garnering votes, because people think at least that way we’ll score a lynch. @Catspurr, can you detail your case against me? That way, at least people can understand why you want to lynch me.
And this can’t be it:
—
No disagreement from me that the Miller can’t make Lylo. Seems like basic good gameplay. But we’re not there yet I don’t think. I’ll say it again - if we really can’t get consensus, then I can get behind this.
—
But then did MS not use it at all N2? I don’t think so right? Either he really used it on himself twice, or he was targeted twice. I don’t see an alternative.
—
Sigh. You are basically giving Scum a blueprint for how to make you Townread them - just agree with most of what you say. I didn’t agree with your line of thinking on Nanook, and I’m being Scum read for it. I’ll be honest with you, it’s a bit infuriating.
Right on cue!
Well, scum team has done something funny.
or scum team is not MS and theyre doing something that is perfectly not funny, especially when they look so town!
Dude, it’s POE, and that you’ve claimed to be an Orb (fragment) Collector who gets a special power if all fragments are collected, but then decides not to collect all three but target me who you know doesn’t have one instead.
When did I say this? Point to me where I said that I would get an ability if I gathered all three Orbs. Because I am absolutely certain I never did.
But that’s your goal, right?
cats is saying (maybe) that if a Lost Wolf, collecting all fragments gets you into the scum board, just as having a fragment gets others into a neighbour board.
I also already explained that I was dissuaded by Urist from collecting a second Orb last night (and threatened with a vote, actually).
Cats explained that? And therefore, that makes it my goal? You clearly can’t quote me on having to collect all of them, so you resort to this nonsense?
“So, esp. if scum, I construct a world where I am not scum, and stay true to that world. If asked enough details to disassemble that world, then yeah, I’m usually caught. But players rarely ever do that. It’s not as simple as asking if I’m Town - one has to dig deeper than that.”
Wouldn’t this depend on how deep of a world you construct? How do we know how many layers to deconstruct?
I’m curious on whether this is your way of saying that: When you say You Are Town - you don’t actually mean it.
"You saw the effort I put into initially answering cats, right? "
I didn’t think you put a lot of effort into it, really?
"And you’ve seen how earnestly and repeatedly you’ve asked? "
I have never actually asked you!
Also… is the dog keeping you up again?
