Deep Space 9 Mafia - Game Over!

I should be able to post later tonight

Could go either way.

ā€¦how do you describe it?

Iā€™ll look him over too. And then make a better decision

That defeats the point.
Your answer could be helpful to me.

Iā€™m confusedā€¦ you asked me what null means to me. Means neither townish or scummish. So null means to me it could go either way

Pretty much undecided until I iso him

I am having trouble reconciling this with a Town mindset. Why would you telegraph, way ahead of time, where your vote is going to end up at the end of the day (while being slightly dismissive of the posts to follow)? I understand that Nanook can be aggressive (we had our run-ins when I was Scum, though I probably would have complained about some of it had I been Town), and he can certainly be wrong, but up until then, the only thing you could really say was Scummy, if at all, was his insistence to wait for a CC of Srceenplayā€™s claim, which in my view is not even an unreasonable reaction (it isnā€™t how I reacted, but if I had seen a lot fake-claims I might have said something similar [and especially if the claim is as suspicious as Srceenplayā€™s]).

Sorry. I misread. Thought you were avoiding the question.

So go either way?
You have no info to move them towards town or scum.
Or
You have info that leans Town and info that leads scum.

Is it fair to say itā€™s one of them?

It is neither. I donā€™t have any info. Here let me do an ISO right now then Iā€™ll give you my opinion

Wait a secā€¦ can ISOā€™s just be done on this forum by going to the user and looking at their posts?

Iā€™ll just reread the game

You can ISO a person by clicking on their picture within the game and filtering.

Ok thanks

Hereā€™s what I saw from cats

-has Andre looking like town, concedes your scum game does too
-screenplay hard to read, but says they seem towny so far (getting involved early and stirring things up)
-questioning aloud about Urist 1st post
-questions Urist if early jokes are town tells
-mass claims are bs

This post confused me a little @catspurr

you said that town donā€™t have to explain their votes. But then you say itā€™s reason enough to vote them when they donā€™t explain.

This seems to conflict.

again, that it is expected that there will be a reason

(I think that town can vote without reason, in order to silently pressure someone, or potentially make scum squirmy).

-nanook hard to judge, and happy for others to to judge
-hasnā€™t noticed AKFD, but states they are newbie (in response to my vote on him)
-stuff about _ffery and MS

-questions Screenplay about his ā€˜innoā€™ on cats
-follows Screenplay onto Nanook
-thinks Screenplay is legit

-votes Screenplay because there seems to be confusion

^frustration. reads a bit townish to me

(unvotes)

provides reads without being prompted

goes back a bit on Metal read to more neutral, after considering thereā€™s only 4 posts by him

(stuff after about agreeing with Dan), I donā€™t really know what Dan said, so I canā€™t comment.

^asks me to post more. I actually like that, because if scum, cats could probably just vote me instead. Votes Metal (seems to follow suit with previous downgrading of Metal read)

There was a bit more after but I was getting impatient.

The only thing that really bugged me was the bit town changing votes. But the rest of the stuff seemed on the townish side to me. I wouldnā€™t vote for cats. I am reading some of the frustration as towny.

And I donā€™t know if I included it, but there were the parts about not responding to foses or votes necessarily, but just responding to questions. That seems fair.

Iā€™m trying to think of whether or not when I am scum, I get tempted to respond to foses. I know when I am town, I might respond for a little bit, but then eventually get frustrated and just say screw it. Especially if someone is just pushing on you for what seem to be reading things under a wrong perspective.

Not a huge fan of this post, because I find donā€™t believe that AD is really going to check out parsecā€™s games on another site. It looks like he could be asking to make himself look extra curious.

Easy enough questions

-post 102, says he doesnā€™t mind the Urist wagon because heā€™s not townreading him
-post 128, he answers Andre and clarifys that heā€™s not scum reading him, but that he was NAI, but then says that recently he is leaning town on him now.

(in between post 102 and 128, Urist questions cats and votes cats. Then talks about massclaiming being a horrible idea, and says more about AKFD). So that seems fair that AD moved him up.

-parsec claiming is fine
-votes catspurr for what looks like a contrived vote on MS
-screen policy lynch

Meh

VOTE: ActionDan

Sorry Iā€™m too addicted to maplestory m

Iā€™ll read and catch up soon

Yes, this is a contradiction isnā€™t it?
I guess it comes down to how you read the vote change or why the vote was made.
I mean your point about town can use a vote just as pressure without an explaination if valid.
But isnā€™t it then fairly obvious that is what they are doing?

Think Magicziggy, he jumps his votes around to see reactions.
He does not explain that is what he is doing, but we know that is what he is doing.

And this is why I donā€™t react when people vote me, because I learned the game in quick 24/12 pluraity vote format and in that format, over reacting as either town or scum can get you lynched.

So I donā€™t think my not reacting/addressing votes and most fosses is alignment indicative.
Iā€™ve just learnt to ignore to the point that I am surprised when people point it out.

It is very interesting and a little frustrating playing with Andre.
I love his style, but I can see it as neive as well.
At least I did until it worked as well for him as scum as it does as town.

Please do Metal.
Looking forward to you playing with us.
