It’s probably just cat jealousy.
Why would I take someone else’s word for something if I remembered the opposite being true?
My memory was wrong this time, but still.
(And btw, as far as I know what I said wasn’t incorrect; scum usually don’t have daytalk in long games, they just do in ffery games).
Can you go over the urist and nanook interactions?
i am pretty much sitting around waiting for cabd or his replacement to claim.
i swear to god if he pops in with another “gonna take this game into my own hands now” right before he’s replaced, i’m gonna flip the fuck out.
Afkcabd
Yeah so my grand plans of interacting with the day met IRL shit. So i’m not gonna get anything else out of slowrolling.
Metal, do you have an active night ability? Yes or no?
prodgr
your big reveal is really a tracker claim? :\
Well MS did sort of soft claim something before. He said - he would rather see what happens after PR results.
And that’s not so bad of a reveal, especially if it can be verified.
I’m happy with not lynching cabd.
It means we can look elsewhere… Like, screenplay : )
Screen & cats…
A tracker claim to a specific target.
A very specific target.
That only makes sense with like… maybe one or two roles out there, hence the line of questioning?
that’s top secret
I will say that I know someone visited me last night
and I believe that player did bad things to me
ME did you target someone last night or not?
MS you should just claim your target, and Cabd can confirm or deny it.
I will not do so
Here are some highlights:
Immediate response to Nanook’s reveal idea means he probably was not clued in about Nanook’s objective when asking for this.
Here Urist is shading Nanook, and Nanook defends himself in a way that maybe reveals what you were up to? I only say this because Nanook is basically agreeing with Urist’s rationale for your fake claim (unless Urist is Scum of course, in which case this is an attempt to make you look really bad in hindsight). Also notice that only after it is very obvious that you were lying (by admitting that you had to reveal “page one”), Nanook then says that you’re “full of shit”. Urist also throws some additional shade your way, and Nanook seems to agree. But of course, he never came close to voting for you (Nanook that is - see #368).
—
This is Urist agreeing with me about Nanook’s play, and Nanook (shockingly) agreeing as well.
Srceenplay, you voted for Nanook in #667. I had forgotten about that. That’s after voting for Cats (placing him close to a lynch) in #660. You did move your vote to ActionDan without much of an explanation in #697, so I don’t know whether any of that is indicative of much. The suspicion around Nanook did seem to be growing, so you moving away from him is not a good sign in my mind.
—
#725 from Urist is worth a re-read. There, he’s partly defending Nanook and attacking you, because of the way you had gone about describing some of Nanook’s actions. Not a direct interaction, but still. You responded in #770 by again arguing that Nanook’s CC request was Scummy.
—
Nanook changing his mind so quickly about potentially flipping ActionDan makes me think that Judge Mental is probably Town. Here, Nanook seems to be shading Urist’s process just to make him look bad. Could also be read as Nanook trying to protect ActionDan, but then why change your mind so quickly? Urist was left with the impression that Nanook was trying to protect ActionDan (see #946), but from re-reading it’s not how I interpreted it at first. However, Nanook then partly agrees with Urist’s interpretation, but only as it pertains to lurkers, and not ActionDan specifically (see #950). So, not entirely sure we can use this to deduce Judge Mental’s alignment.
This series after the push against ActionDan seems rather innocuous. I don’t know what to make of Nanook agreeing about Mantis likely being Town in this game, but seems to trust Urist’s view. I suppose it’s hard to Scum read most of the game and still look like Town.
—
Urist here strongly shading Nanook’s push for Cats (together with everyone on that wagon, and asking Mantis to step out of it). Note that Nanook doesn’t address these questions, just addresses Urist’s points about potentially flipping ActionDan (later in the same post), and leaves it open ended.

This is only through #950. I’ll get back to the rest when I have some more time.
Some side notes:
Parsec placed Nanook at the top of his reads list (as in, most likely to be Town) in #242.
Nanook defending Srceen in #790, #800, #819 and #845 about him constantly forgetting his reasoning for votes gives me bad vibes, and I am finding it hard to defend given the context of the game up to that point, when both of them had been attacking each other. It reads a bit like a pivot (Srceenplay acknowledged as much in #831). Sadly, it worked for me (#858), but I’m sure Nanook did not expect to be flipped after D1.
Cabd was pretty sure about his vote on Nanook in #817, saying that he remembers how Nanook plays as Scum. Urist aggressively questioned the vote in #829, saying that Cabd should provide his reasoning or otherwise he just seems to be playing it safe.
