Let’s see what have I gathered so far. I obviously don’t have any good reads, since there’s a bunch of posturing going on. The debates between MetalSonic and Alisae about other people’s alignments are interesting, and I do think that MS throwing out a vote so quickly on NSG at the urging of Alisae, who at that point hadn’t even made a claim about chosen alignment) is kind of scummy.

For me, I know for a fact that at least two others voluntarily chose to be scum, and that it wasn’t a matter of ‘no one chose scum so scum got randomized’.

I think ffery, key and NSG are town. I’ve been extremely obvtown in play thus far so we’re looking at scum within 2 of {scumfins, MS, alisae, josh, andres}.

I don’t really like this direct appeal to ffery after MS’s repeated assertions that muffin is likely to have picked scum.

yeah, well, when it comes to knowing what i’d pick, metal sonic is about as knowledgeable as slightly-confused moth that keeps running into a street lamp (i may or may not have been looking outside my window when i came up with this simile)

i probably would have asked ffery a similar question regardless (because it’s fun to mess with people’s heads, duh) but in this particular instance, i asked her the question because we’d had a conversation about something like this where i told her if given the choice of alignments, i’d pick town in every game to the point of it being a trust tell EXCEPT that i’d also abuse that trust tell at some point fora free win (note: at the time of the conversation, it was unrelated to this game)

This is to avoid lynching chosen? Pretty sure the point of the game is to still lynch scum

yeah, but there would have been no downside to lynching ffery and that’s one of the things on my mafia bucket list…

though speaking of which, this is another point about cupcake. there’s a decent chance cupcake is scum but on the off-chance he’s actually antitown, i am almost certain that scum would absolutely be trembling in fear at cupcake’s ability to both look obvtown and find and push scum lynches, so it’s a fair assumption that scum chose cupcake to not be chosen, ergo the best lynch choice

which reminds me, it makes no sense that scum get to choose who is not “chosen”; the person they choose is chosen by them, ergo chosen by definition…
