It’s not tin foil hat. If you wanted to still try to win the tournament the one thing you couldn’t do was pick Urist as scum. That’s objectively true
I still don’t understand why you’re so concerned about how I choose to play a tournament or the game. If you always play to win, and not have any sense of the odds, then good for you man. We can’t all be the richest person in the world.
It’s like unless I pick the scenario where it’s 2% ultimate victory / 98% disaster, over the 70% respectability / 30% disaster scenario, I’m like less of a competitor.
And it’s just not the case.
I just admitted to myself I wasn’t measuring up, and went for salvaging my tournament. I get it - you don’t respect it. But I don’t have to live by your standards. I get to choose what I want to aim for.
