FPS’ing or “to FPS” is a poker term for when someone pursues an elaborate strategy over a more straightforward one, sometimes just for the sake of having fun or making the game more challenging for oneself.
typically refers to fake cop claims, gambits (i.e., slayer’s gambit) and just generally anything that is convoluted in place of actual mafia scumhunting. scumhunting and asking questions to a player don’t fall under this.
