Triple Tickle Game Thread (Day 4)

But… Do we need to know their role immediatly? And maybe they will get online at some point. And their chance of being town is 5/8th from my pov, and if youre town 5/8 from your pov aswell so they likely flip scum. And isnt it better to find out if a sus person is rlly sus or nah? We also don"t know for sure what their role is, so could also, simply yeet someone else- And they indeed won’t be stabbed but that applies to multiple ppl, right?

Ok then

Well as you state here, she never mentioned it in tge thread. But now she got reactions to it, why wouldnt she reveal how it were reaction tests? Makes me feel like it was’t intended that way-

Discussing the specialist abilities isn’t odd imo. She just was the first one to suggest an order, which makes me feel like she maybe wanted to put herself on a good spot. And does it matter if it was expected or not?

Let’s not. Maybe I would if the wagons stay between me and Crab, but I much rather tickle someone else

I think the wagons are likely to stay You/Crab until EoD as we only have 4 hoursish

/shrug

I can hope

Well, sometimes I look at it from a utility perspective. In all seriousness, whether they are killer or they are town and knowing that for 100% sure would be quite useful for me to know for my solve, and I would rather not have to rely on probability here.

If they’re town, then I think I have to (or very much should) give a reevaluation at some of my current town reads such as Spak, as having a flipped town gives cause to raise the bar on what I call town. If they’re killer, then well we caught a killer and it goes to show my town-reads are likely okay.

Some players are the mysteries of the universe. Some hunt more silently while others hunt more openly. Ideally I prefer those that hunt more openly but I’m not here to press on someone’s playstyle.

Speaking of which, some scum players do like appearing reasonable or as having clear reasons to their actions so that they’re never questioned.

My impression from you using the words “bringing it up” meant that she said it out of no-where; it was completely original. My personal take is that if she was the one who started the broader “specialist abilities” topic or “priority” sub-topic out of nowhere (or unexpectedly), I would scum-read it since it seems they would be using that as a “hey I am creating content” substitute.

But the thing is towns can just as easily get involved in mechanical discussion, especially if other people start it. So I don’t think its scummy for what they did. To me, setting the priority is a day 1 ability of the specialist, in the same way that role-block / protection / heart rate are abilities as well. I mean, with the context, since I can easily see a Town doing what they did/said then I think its at best not alignment-indicative.

I can confirm Crab won’t flip Spec because I am spec

@YoubutWorse has replaced @ExquisiteCrab

Sure

FTR this is my first game on this specific website but my home site also uses disquis (which I think is what this forum is based upon) so a lot of things are very similar to me

This isn’t to say I town-read them, but rather my main problem is that the previous player on that slot wasn’t going to help solve anyone nor themselves to us so now that’s fixed.

Also I’m voting Benedict unless people want to say goodbye to Luftwaffle. Judging by the past 100 posts or so, there doesn’t seem to be more willingness to get rid of Luft than there is of Phone.

(Who, btw, I would very much like to see NOT executed today)

Checking thread rq and seeing that one of my desired votes finally got traction. Will react to your post at some point, Martin

Oh, well I made a reads list at #370. Keep in mind that some of the reads may not be consensus,

ALRIGHT im done reading
That was supringly accurate since it said it was like a 43 minute readtime

BTW I think specialist should def heartrate > roleblock because your target will either be a

  1. Non attacking killer (who you can out and vote out)
  2. A VT or attacking killer

Specialist can basically confirm someone as town through the heartrate which can help town a ton and confuse killers (they’ll have two targets, the outed spec and the basically conf town)

I would probably heartrate somebody you townread already just to make sure since if you heartrate somebody you townread, it could be an attacking killer and you could be accidently conf a killer.
Those are just my thoughts, any other cases for why it should be rb over heartrate?

Also this
This is NAI but WAY too many townreads
Its d1 and we dont have that much info
I would definitely consider re-evaling your reads since there is a high chance that one of them is a killer. Possibly even 2.

is anybody around?
i wanna talk with people :pensive:

2 more hours
is anyone gonna be at eod or is it just me
