I’m not focused on finding the Specialist. I don’t have to find the Specialist. All I have to do is not hit the Specialist and I’ve done my job for today. That’s how I see it.
I don’t think I’m good enough to narrow down the choice to the point where I hit a Killer with some great degree of certainty. I have a feeling about how I would approach this game as Killer - so I am paying some attention to that. That’s all.

I mean look I think you are probably telling the truth that you like to be TR as Town. I also think that’s exactly what you need to happen to win as Killer. So you’re playing up to that meta.

I get really excited about mafia because it’s one of the only things I’m good at, so when I don’t understand someone I usually go to extremes. Most of the reason why I’m chasing you is that I do think you’re town, but it’s hard to get anywhere if you’re not reciprocating the read.
Well I might not want to reciprocate the read because you’ve ruled yourself out as Specialist! Which in and of itself is sufficient grounds for execution, since you might not even get shot here until it’s too late.
Look at it from this perspective. The Town have a fighting chance to win this game if the Specialist is alive. Distinguishing between a Killer and the Specialist I maintain is near impossible. So, I just want to not be responsible for screwing it up.
I’ll admit though, Phone pinged me just enough that I don’t want to let it go just yet.
