Why’s that?
it’s obviously the best distro for scum if given the option.
@tn5421 that’s a serious read key is broadcasting from me because of your game placement - also please remember the games are friendly ty <3
Not for the other game.
That said, I won’t fight this point too much. If it’s 4 vs 3 today then that just means we can’t be wrong. Let’s go find bad guys.
This. Squash this game fast while hiding in a big crowd in the other one.
People who have experience playing Eli. How do you get a read on Eli?
If this game is 4 vs 3 then we could be at instant LYLO. We are currently about halfway through the day phase.
How do people feel about the state of this game right now? Could you confidently vote for anyone at this point?
I wish I had a good answer for you. Usually I have to get into some conflict with him before I develop a solid read. I also haven’t seen him be scum in a minute.
The thing is, I want to believe Nanook isn’t a big enough dick to let scum distribute themselves 3:4 in this game. Because that’s just not fun for town and if he did, I’m not playing any more of his games when he whines at us to come try his games on mafia451.
So I’m going to operate under the belief that I’m in a 5:2 game.
What would you think the likelihood is that we saw some clumsy distancing between Doggo and M2H early in this game?
I’d lean in this direction as well. I’ve assumed that Nanook approached the joint-game mechanic with the idea that both threads would be internally balanced. The purpose of the split is defeated otherwise.
I wouldn’t rule it out, but having never played with either of them I can’t comment too much on it. Is there something that distinctly makes you believe this is the case?
Gonna go ahead and slap a town read on nutella in the other thread.
It would be an overstatement to call me “distinct” on anything at this point. But if I’m looking for a team of two, their early interactions seem… ugh. Strange? In a way I can’t just say “Here, for this exact reason.” Doggo comes in shading M2H, M2H comes in going “Well I townread him anyway” and they kinda quietly dropped it after that?
I don’t tend to look for partnerships before we have a confirmed scum, but I will say that I also noticed Doggo apparently dropped most of what he said early in the thread. He talked about chesskid in a way that implies a connection to you as well, and hasn’t picked it back up. He talked about M2H and hasn’t picked it back up.
Then again, I think I may have sapped his energy to play today.
The last time we got into a fight in the thread together I was town and you were scum. Generally I feel we get along decently as town/town. Am I…am I wrong there?
And to answer the question so far Kim is giving me no reason to scumread her.
Hey @Ellibereth if we are already at LYLO here could we maybe get some reads from you in this game? Could be important. What do I know?
Has she given you reason to townread her?
Tbh, I don’t usually either, but the game is so small, and I feel townish on both you and Fatmo, so my pool is already reduced.
I suppose I may have helped with that.
As a general rule I townread Kim until she makes a scumread on me that’s in terrible faith. It usually does not lead me astray.
Dude, I literally tried to murder you D1 of the game we’re currently both alive in on PlayDip. I’m trying to keep crosstalk out of it so I’ll leave that one alone, but I hammered a lynch on you in Christmas Mafia a year ago because you were being a fucknut and we were both town there.
@Fatmo is my most confident town read in this thread. Hearing from him would be groovy at this point.
I’d also like to know what everyone thinks of Doggo’s responses to me. He was visibly frustrated with the direction of my questions. Does this seem like the response Town Doggo would have had? Is there anything that stands out about his behavior one way or another?
