SoDope Mafia Eleven

this was my point on the original convert, yea. so probably. only other option is if Erika blocked whoever performed the kill, which is much less likely statistically but admittedly is a possibility.

The thing is yeah, okay, it’s complete wifom maybe for now, but you do realize that to win, we have to figure that out right? It’s almost as if you want to wait until the end and vote the middle of the road player that in your view fits the criteria for convert, but that might just be a decent player who was never put under pressure but is also not Scum. Like sure, your criteria for the convert might work out. But I’m not convinced that it will, and with this player base, I don’t actually think that’s what Scum did. If you’re just going to convert a middle of the road player, then chances are that player won’t be good Scum and might lose the game for you. I would rather convert someone who is actually good at the game, or who is definitely a loss for Town. To me, that’s better criteria.

Again, this is all speculation. Whatever happened will reveal itself in due time. But I’m seriously considering your point of view and you should mine, instead of sticking your head in the sand about it.

I mean, you probably can’t see it in the thread, but as Josh’s hardest defender this game, I’ve thought about the possibility of him being a wolf a lot, perhaps even more than anyone, due to the controversy.

Considering my slot protected Josh on the night the conversion went through and there was no Wolf KP that night, unless if wolf KP got role-blocked night 1, to me, it looks like Josh was targeted by KP and I landed a save. Would the wolves simultaneously try to convert Josh and kill him in the same night?

Josh wasn’t a wolf on day 1, because I would’ve died night 1 if this was the case by targeting him. The weakness of my role is I die if I target a wolf.

Erika targeted Josh with a role-block last night, and we saw visible wolf KP. It’s confirmed the wolves have a role-blocker, which means they wouldn’t expect a second role-blocker in the game. Town trackers and Town watchers are a lot more common than Town role-blockers.

The way to play around those is to make Josh carry out the kill, because it looked like he wasn’t making it far. In the world where Josh is a wolf, his partner getting tracked or watched would be a complete disaster as it means his team no longer has a win condition.

Another thing to think about, if Josh is a wolf, and you are town, I feel very strongly you would be at the very top of his kill list, not Erika who was flip flopping back and forth.

Opinions on who the best conversion target would be have been all over the place. You, Elli and Andres have all said it’s likely one between the 3 of you, but to me it seems like an ego thing, and not the optimal play.

We’re still playing a game of werewolf. It’s not all about trying to figure out the converted target. The way I like to play werewolf, is I like to lynch people I don’t think I’ll be able to find if they’re villagers. Even if we miss-lynch some villagers along the way, eventually the walls will close in on the wolf team.

A deep wolf can always exist, but they will be suspicious in final 3 because they should’ve been killed off by the wolves ages ago.

A scummy wolf might get outed because there just aren’t enough scummy villagers left to lynch instead of them.

I think this play-style of lynching people I won’t be able to find if they’re villagers leads to the highest town win percentages.

The best wolf players, are the people who can ride the fine line between not getting lynched, but at the same time not being widely town-read.

People in the direct lynch circle and people who are widely town-read and controlling the day should both die, even if it’s for different reasons.
