I do, however, think that If Josh is gladiating with Scum, that I’ll take a step back and rethink the game. If Geyde flips Town, however, fully expect me to return to this.
It’s my first run around with most of you so I have no insight into what type of player Elli is. And no, I won’t go make a computer program to analyze past games.
Ignore that for a minute. Elli takes strong stances as Town only when he’s sure. If he’s waffling fine that’s one thing. But I’ve read some of the games he’s been a part of and I’ve literally never seen him strike out horribly when taking a strong stance. This would be the first time.
And look, he’s a good Town player and horrible Scum (we’ve been Partners and I had to carry us because he is not willing to hurt his reputation). He gets killed quickly in most games because he makes good reads go check other games out on this site.
But look, what’s true about my style of play is that despite what other players might do, I like forming my own opinions. So I’m not just going to sheep Elli or any other player. However, Elli’s points about the convert are very valid, and from my point of view I know it’s not me so pushing for Josh makes sense.
@Andresvmb as I said, I have you as the most likely convert and have had that since d2.
If its not you, and you assume its not me, who do you think it is?
Having said that, Geyde seems like Scum to me and I would have pushed there at a later stage, so this isn’t a terrible outcome.
Ugghh
Rip Geyde
VOTE: Geyde
But yeah see this is my point. You have me as the most likely convert and vice versa. But I know what I am. So pushing for your lynch from my POV is not suboptimal. If anything, I think it’s rather telling that you chose not to gladiate with me - you’re actively deciding not to put your theory to the test. That’s a bad sign for me.
But I don’t have the votes on my side. That much is clear.
Ok I missed this, and am now wondering why the hell you didn’t choose Andres for the gladiator ring.
Have you read any of my posting this game? I argued from the beginning lynching for the convert is a losing play.
See the above post. I can rant more about why if you want.
No need for rants. Your responses the last few minutes are goofy to me.
Chill. This is hitting scum.
Who’s converted is complete wifom. The person picking a target knew we were gonna try and read into who the target was gonna be. The optimal pick is a middle of the road player who always ends up in late-game because they are neither high priority night-kills, nor easy lynches
I agree with this.
The right play has never been to lynch for the recruit, that’s my point.
Does a doctor really keep someone from being recruited?
I don’t know.
But, the night kill itself was missing night 1. Only the recruit happened. This means that the scum’s actual kill failed, which means they shot someone that got doctored OR the scum performing the kill got roleblocked (I did not know we had a town roleblocker when I made that post).
So my slot DID land a save on you night 1?
They would never try and kill their convert target
