This is disingenuous. It assumes scum has to have converted one of these people, and while they are the most likely they’re far and away the only options. As scum, I would have converted in Andres or Screen there, but there’s a school of thought that converting a random null person and pushing paranoia is valid.
The smart play was not to declaratively force a lynch in our pool to find the recruit. By random lynching, I agree it is more likely to find scum in Andres and Elli than the rest of the game. But I am, in Elli’s words, “way better” in playerlists like this, and he himself is one of the top town players around on any site. Andres is also good albeit less experienced. So the optimal play is to keep lynching in the actual likely to be scum pool which is also pretty small (Erika / Geyde / Margaret / Sock / Rich) until scum stop killing the “good” players. You can say they’ll keep us alive for WIFOM, but they won’t because leaving good players alilve to endgame is never a formula for success.
So my plan beneath my plan was originally to lynch the recruits once scum stopped killing in the Screen Andres Elli Josh pool, and make it clear Elli and Andres were sus in case I died. Elli’s play here is super tmi’y, because he’s already getting town reads with his “1v1 I die tomorrow”. It is an easy way to get town reads because herpaderp why would scum go 1 for 1! Elli’s play is not likely to come from town!him here, I already suspected him because he ignored my reach out attempts. And moreover, I’m the single biggest threat to a hypothetical Elli scum team, this isn’t really a surprise to me.

I’ve never seen Elli be this obnoxious in a game before. The only way I can rationalize this behavior is he was feeling good stomping wolves, and now he’s super salty about becoming one due to conversion. If he’s a villager here… let’s just say he’ll be out of my good graces after this game.
Is anyone else annoyed with him taking the game hostage tunneling on someone who he’s been aligning with throughout the game?
Claiming roles seems useless to me as wolves can fake claims and they might have some anti-claim ability to kill villagers with who claim roles to counteract massclaiming, which is very common in setups this size.
