MS’ play here, no matter what alignment he is, is probably what I try to go for in my scum games and thats why I can’t confidently call him town. It’s noncommittal, uncontroversial, and relatively easy to fake. I’m feeling very much not heard rn and MS I’m sorry if you feel that I’m taking that out on you but it doesn’t change the fact that I can’t solidly TR you.

Thank you for explaining your point of view. It would have been better for everyone if you explained that perhaps earlier at the beginning, so that we could have worked out the root of the issue. How about looking at this from another perspective: You admitted that in Kebab mafia, you had difficulty reading me. I understand this to mean that you scumread me as well in that game, but I turned out to be town. How about applying that knowledge here, and leaving the reading on me to someone who is more confident and/or accurate?

If you truly believe that I am scum, nobody is stopping you. You are welcome to place a vote on me at the end of day. If you are correct, great! But, if you are wrong, you will have to accept the penalty of lost ELO. And, you are not allowed to victim-blame, such as the lines of “Metal Sonic was behaving scummy, so it’s his fault that I voted him!” etc. If you can follow these principles, I’m sure that it’s not a wrong move to stand by your ideals and opinions.

my paranoia of you isn’t a function of me being tired tho. It was there day 1, I just didn’t think it would be useful to express it then because it might have thrown off the gtacc lynch which I felt was the best call.

You gave the impression on Day 1 that your scum games were poor. Certainly, after reading your scum games, it looks absolutely nothing like what I’ve been posting so far. If so, do you think it’s a stretch to compare how I’ve been posting so far and your scumgame?
Maybe, if you let it go for now, you’ll feel better about it later, and perhaps encounter the experience later on, potentially embarrassing, of “Oh, what was I thinking?!” It’s quite a common experience, so there’s no need to feel weird about it.
my scum game is usually shit yes. thats why I said try to go for. I think if I compare my play in Ranked 1, 5 my scum game there was pretty similar to your game here in terms of being noncommittal, uncontroversial, and relatively high post count but low effort. thats what im seeing from you here.

You make it sound like I have it out for you and want to fight you when all I want is for everyone to be friends and have a healthy team discussion.
I suppose I will take #1042 as an expression of opinion rather than a request for someone to comfort and/or encourage you, then.
@Andresvmb for what it’s worth, it should be clear in hindsight that I was planning on voting for GTacc.
Can we agree that there are two possible motivations for calling someone town? Either a) I’m scum with GTacc and was trying to swing the wagon off my buddy, or b) I’m town and didn’t want other town to vote for GTacc. You think that A is the case, but B is the reality.
My insistence that I be the last vote of the day is a strong indicator for case B. I wanted to vote for GTacc, but for obvious reasons I needed to be the last vote of the day, so that the wagon wouldn’t swing onto myself.
If I were scum, what motivation would I have to vote for GTacc at all? Why not simply go all-in on the town read so that I appear consistent? That’s the key difference between case A and case B… in case B, I have reason to vote for GTacc at EoD. Not so much for case A.
I understand your reprehension toward me, but remember that I threw a game in order to lock myself into gaining Elo. We do not view ranked games (or the best way to gain Elo) in the same light. Try to take that into consideration when evaluating the motivation behind my actions yesterday.
Also, in the interest of complete transparency, the motivation for me trying to not get lynched is that unless I’m correct with my vote today (and I’m not super confident that I am going to be), getting lynched is disastrous for my ranking, since we’re all tied at the moment.
