It’s a stone you can pick it up from the thread so its logical you can drop it back in the thread otherwise meowth’s role as a thief is only to deny town a stone to evolve with. You should just ask if the stone can be used instantly or not as that’s a better question.

My only concern is I always get redirected to not Team Rocket tonight but that’s whatever.
Tier shouldn’t use his ability tonight.
Is there anything I am forgetting ? Probably.
If I had a night action I almost blasted the_worst because there were only hints of game solving on night one but I went back and forth to talk myself out of it . I’m still not sure of that decision.
