Ahhh, actually I thought it was weird that neither chesskid nor Jake were the execution either. I almost think we nearly had the correct mafia team the first time except for ActionDan.
It’s like the mafia went for the least scummy of the bunch, Andres. Like maybe they wanted us questioning why specific people like NotMafia or chesskid weren’t the execution and have us start adding in other people like dunya instead.
We had this stuff happen at Forum of Lies with NKs. The scum would kill off someone totally unexpected, then the WiFoM would start and people would be pointing fingers at each other. They got town leaders ML’d that way.

I like the idea of this setup but I don’t think it’s playable, it relies on every member of the town being at least minimally competent, which is likely a pipe dream. 
It would probably work better with fewer players too, although on paper the EV doesn’t change much.

I’m not sure it’s possible for town to win long term if people are allowed (by the town, not by the rules) to not place votes
