If town aren’t obligated to vote, and mafia are able to change votes, it’s impossible. Also, my comment about players self-voting (i.e. NotMafia) is true. Town can’t win unless that player is mafia.
I mean the set of
Jake
Jake, Breshke
made it officially gg ya
but how come everyone was sure I was scum but not jake
Regardless of that though, any game that’s instantly in a M=T-1 situation is really hard for Town just because if two townies go head to head, it’s over… And that happens basically every game, it’s just usually town have a way of killing a player and moving on.
Town having no KP is a challenging component, because mafia can eliminate the obvious players weighing the team down while town have no way of eliminating the obnoxious town weighing the town down.
Did Jake play?
I mean, you were pretty openly calling yourself out when you flipped Dan tbh. Even before that it was sus.
Omg I was 3/4
I think the set-up needs some form of more standard day 1 where reads can actually be formed.
Yeah, two townies going at it can be bad but it isn’t a complete disaster. The mafia would likely be forced to eliminate one of them at some point.
You make a good point about town being unable to directly eliminate their dead weight (lurkers and such), but it can be tough on the mafia as well. If there is someone playing well as obvious town, the mafia have no way of dealing with that via night kill.
I think you’re right, but I think the problem is mostly with the number of players. The setup might be best-suited for 7p. I imagine it’d be much easier to form a PoE of 3/6 people rather than 5/10.
