Outside of NotMafia (who is openly claiming that they would shoot themselves, but I don’t suspect of actually being bad at Mafia), there’s really nobody I would never give the gun to, to be totally honest. I don’t agree with the strategy of giving it to the “Towniest” player. It’s always a question of giving it to the best player who is also likely to be Town. I would vote for Chess typically, but I am not necessarily all that convinced that Chess is Town yet.

I wouldnt kill urist because he is hosting a game that I am in (my first game on 451), and that would just be rude. I dont think you would do it either, especially after you say “you wanted to play with Urist”. Its too cold. I dont see it. I dont necessarily need to find scum because all I need to do is find a confirmed town to vote for captain. I cant vote on myself, although that is ideal, because nobody else would vote for me necessarily.

I can see you getting votes though, so me voting you for captain makes sense.

Also, its kind of fun because now you can roleplay Nutella for a day if you win the vote.

I want to give chess the benefit of the doubt, but him not getting killed followed by that first post is pretty bad. Otherwise I agree with you he’s my top choice to get the gun.

I fully thought we had both votes for execution and votes for captain and clem was just putting us in a maximum speed death game, but I guess that’s not the case. Both proto and dunya leaning on “we would never kill Urist” feels a bit off to me. It seems like being someone they know and are presumably more at risk from, and also having it be a delayed kill so it’s not like he’s instantly gone, is more reason to kill him than not. I want to think about that some more but I need to prepare for a work call now.
