My thoughts go beyond that, I’m kind of leaning scum on you right now because I don’t see your argument at all.
I just don’t see us losing right away if we hit the 4, and there is the potential of an instant win. If we hit the 1 and they flip town, it is pretty rough for us moving forward because it’s not like normal mafia where we have the liberty of limiting our lynch targets to exactly who we want.
Also, obvious lower chance.
Basically, I’m seeing our worst-case 4 is a break even, which is better than a more likely worst-case 1.

Though really? You don’t see my argument at all? If Scum is bold, they might put 2 Scum in the group of 4 and force Town to take a risk. If they’re conservative, they might still place 1 Scum in the group of 4 since it’s the least likely group to get lynched. That’s essentially my logic. What don’t you see?

I’m actually really curious why the groups are 3-1-4, if anyone has a read on this, it would be appreciated.
@OP, are the groups order randomized, I imagine not (I mean, I don’t really see the point)?
scum probably had different opinions on how the groups should be split and had to compromise. i really doubt that looking into who would do what is going to reveal a whole lot.
