I backed off Dusk and made myself look completely helpless. And if I’m Scum, I had DS giving me massive amounts of cover. In what world do I take a step back, TR Dusk and have that lynch potentially collapse?

Again, meta on myself but I would have never killed DS here. He was the perfect scapegoat for that Dusk lynch and I could have pointed the finger easily and won that fight.

I have a theory but it’s a bit whacky. I think Scum genuinely believed that DS was the Cop and had slipped on his N0.
Whether this actually proves to be the case we’ll eventually find out. I’m just saying that’s the one scenario Scum might have genuinely thought DS was worth the kill.

I don’t like reading too much into NKs usually cause it’s pretty unreliable more often than not, especially with a sample of one, but ok let’s do it. They were probably cop hunting and thought DS was double bluffing. This is what I was trying to set up/make it look like yesterday, that DS was actually the cop faking a derp moment, so I’m sorta guessing it worked cause I dunno what scum kills DS for gameplay reasons tbh. I would bet dollars to donuts that’s why he was NKed. Which, uh…it’s very unlikely he was actually the parity cop so I don’t feel that bad about it tbh.
I was initially gonna keep that to myself and try to sell the “DS was totally the cop” line today but now I kinda think that just ends up giving scum more room to operate not less, so I’m reversing position on it.
