ye, I’m in hum-related stuff as well and my first interactions with Elli weren’t terribly different than yours… just those interactions weren’t as player-to-player and just a bit of confessional and post game space.
I mean throughout the game I definitely agreed with a lot of your talk-it-out-stuff, I just wasn’t playing a talk-it-out game this time and I was at least aware of Elli’s pretty consistent philosophies and it made more sense for me to stick with him.
Tbh I love watching new people meet Elli, it’s great.

I’ll also add that it feels like you guys have a good informed variety of playstyles here. Lots of people seem to be doing different things, but they all seem to know why they’re doing them. I dig that.
well in game A at least, there were very few “regular” 451ers; obv Elli and m2h.
This is only my second game here, but m2h and I also play on smogon.
I’m also much more of a survivor player (err or host) than mafia… which annoys a number of mafia people when I’m too survivory so I try to come up with fairly concrete goals to accomplish in the days instead of just be friendly to everyone.
nanook’s multi-site invitational and the willingness of people like m2h to bring people from other sites over does help to make things diverse I guess : o

I don’t think I played any more reserved than I normally play D1. I’m usually not too aggressive or anything like that during D1. Lol A couple exceptions apply though.

I’d say we’re pretty established, and we have a pretty unique take on tech in mafia (I don’t know of another discourse-themed mafia site out there, for example), plus Key is working super hard on coding awesome new features for the site while @Ellibereth tries to take all the credit.
We had a…crystallizing moment, let’s say that led some of us to start our own site where we could do things in a way that makes sense to us and lots more stuff but as the admin who does literally the least I’ll shut up and let someone else talk
