I mean if the player who claims miller is in that group, then go hard
Otherwise your policy is pretty much meaningless

This is all assuming youâd do the same as town here though
I probably would barring meta for the reasons of A misclearing is worse than mislynching and B it discourages future scum from the strat
Thatâs more of an argument to avoid clearing someone on a miller claim though isnât it?
You discourage scum, assuming you get enough coverage of this technique with the players youâre likely to play with. You also discourage town from claiming miller immediately to avoid you mislynching them, when the purpose of that is usually so they commit early instead of only claiming after theyâre red checked.
In the end, you get town who either get mislynched for claiming or they get mislynched on investigation, which is worse than having them claim miller outright and sorting them without mechanical help.
@bepwei gj modding. Glad you picked up on how to do the votecounts from my silent edits.
I only skimmed postgame but my general âfoolproof but time consumingâ advice on improving at (and only at) reading people is to choose a particular player (someone with a large corpus of completed games and ideally has a reputation for being easier to read). Get like 20 or 30 completed games they played and read them, take a guess for some behaviors/phrases/etc. that you think are alignment indicative. Actually go through and match instances for that guess with the playerâs alignment (to check how indicative or not it is). Eventually do this for multiple specific players and then trying grouping players into archetypes to guess tells for unsorted players etc.etc.
Now in practice if you do this for 1 or 2 players you play semi-regularly this and can clear them as town or get them as mafia with decently above rand youâre already a super contributor once you have the track record. Nice bonus is it more or less makes actually playing irrelevant for improving.
If anyone has a question about the site/bug report/etc. please ping or message me.
Heâs smarter than I am definitely not just lazy
I disagree thereâs any reason that determining a redchecked miller claim is actually town is any harder than determining a D1 miller claim is actually town
tbh Iâd argue the time before they were checked actually makes that way easier
Especially because a Miller will NOT want to be checked and so should double down on being extra good
If you knew me, you would realize that I donât like meta reading.
Thatâs not the point
You arenât comparing them game to game
Youâre looking at specific actions they do from alignment to alignment, and then using that to extrapolate to other players
Itâs a solid idea, even from the standpoint of people like you and I who donât like relying on meta.
itâs key
Gg everyone
GG
Also colors in role pms were misleading mine was green and I assumed marshall was scum when his was purple lmao
who was redflavor xd
Gtacc
Good job town (and most notably from my skimming, firekitten) and good job andres. obv I had some run ins with andres very early in the thread, and while I do think his day 1 interaction with me was really bad and not towny, I do give him props for meeting his win condition that only got tougher when jake was modkilled.
Manga spoilers
rip twice
I was so confused why you kept editing my posts and making your vote counts. Then after you told me how to reset the VC I realized what you had done to my posts that whole time.
