Jake is probably town but it’s more likely that he managed to fix the specific problem with his wolf game that I’m using to read him than that Marshal is scum, and I would vote Jake over Marshal here

not sure what this means

so Jake has, for a while, had a problem where he often, when getting pushed as wolf, devolves into toxicity-and-adjacent things (like, to put things into perspective, he got banned midgame on my homesite, twice, for instances of this)

I was reading him as likely town based on the fact that he wasn’t doing that this game

however, in trying to decide between him and Marshal, I thought it was more likely that Jake had figured out ‘don’t be toxic if people are pushing you as scum’ than that Marshal was scum

I would also say in the POE, but I’m not sure where. My read there has gone from Lean Scum, to something softer, to not really sure.

I’m flip flopping between Jake and dead, because I think with jake we can do a lot of the analysis of how eod went down yesterday, but they’ve got this check on someone that I can’t ignore, and dead is lowkey kinda sus

So if deadbananas flips Town, then GKB is almost surely Scum. I won’t have much of a leg to stand on, and it’s going to be hard to really consolidate anywhere, but that would make sense. I don’t know what to make of GKB being very skeptical of GTacc’s Miller claim - overall, I think it’s a negative, but I can see the opposite side of it too.

Now that I think about it, I don’t know that deadbananas flipping Scum helps GKB all that much. Only because expressing skepticism but not really voting there or pushing hard for it is classic wishy-washy Scum.

My logic here is: with Jake’s death, the shot would have most likely ended here with a lot of players vocally pushing for this as an alternative. I think DB benefits the most from Doggo’s untimely death, and so I think this needs to be flipped.

And you don’t think scum know this? Killing doggo when people know I was the next most likely to be shot is most likely going to get my lynched today, like Ill fullclaim later if I have too but IDK if it will do me anygood. If scum doesn’t kill doggo here I get shot early and flip town then you guys get more evidence to go after the scum and lynch one today. This way you guys lynch me, scum kills one tonight and maybe another dies to a NK or vig or whatever. Thats a way worse situation for town than me getting flipped early, doggo living and you guys being able to connect the paths. Look think, If I was scum my scummates and I would know that Im a likely target to get shot as soon as doggo claims he has a day vig so why not kill him then right? See scum knew me and Jake were TvT and they could have doggo shoot one of us and lynch the other thats my guess to their plan nothing else makes sense. Think about it, if I was shot and flipped town, Jake would be the number one suspect, just like now that jake died and well has to be town even if he hasnt flipped Im the main target. The scum have us on a railroad of our own design.

Also, and this annoys me and I can’t do much about it, I fully recognize that my POE is too wide. I don’t know that I can narrow it down much further. I think the next Lynch should surely be amongst {deadbananas, EricKline, GKB}, but I wouldn’t be like super surprised if we didn’t consolidate on any one of them to be honest.

I think there’s plenty of Scum utility in eliminating a direct immediate threat to Scum even if it only postpones the death of a Partner. I don’t think that I agree with this train of thought.
