Agreed. This seems to just be the deal with Eli. So I figure might as well keep engaging with him and hope others also talk to him about the weather and whatnot. Might as well give the wizard medium all the input he says he can use to make reads, which will make it more likely that if he’s town he catches scum. Then if he doesn’t, we most likely eliminate him and figure out the rest.
And yea, reads are hard to understand here. My guess is that there ought to be more action later in the day or on D2 once things have actually happened.
i mean weather stuff is mainly an attempt to speed up the process on the people here I don’t know since I don’t have the time or motivation I used to research wise

@chesskid3, can you expand on this a bit? Eli may or may not be scum, but this can also help us to read you and not just Eli.

I’ve never played him other than that crazy bastard game, which didn’t give me any particular insight into reading him lol.
I know he has that thing I’ve seen you and others talk about with his entrance reads. Do you feel like you usually get a good read from his entrances?
If I was Scum, I would have gambited on having the least amount of Scum active right now. And I would have absolutely volunteered to be deferred. I’m not particularly confident I could have fooled all the players on this game to avoid being TK’ed early (unless they are all Scum together which is entirely possible, though Chess throwing a now rescinded SR Elli’s way makes this unlikely), and also if the Scum can find ways of staying underground, then you can eliminate some of the stronger players early and have an easier time later.
I’m also of the opinion that we should scrutinize players coming in later in the game (if this isn’t over by then).
I guess it might be interesting that he didn’t make any entrance reads himself even though there were a handful of entrances already. @nutella, does this strike you as AI for him? And that he mainly talked about mechanics?
@MacDougall, what do you think of things as of now?

Eh, I really just need more interaction with him. His first post was basically just mechanics talk which doesn’t indicate anything, if anything it’s slightly non-town-mac-ish as I want some actual takes/spice from him early but he hasn’t said anything about players yet really, tbf when he was here there wasn’t much content yet. When he and I are both town we tend to either mindmeld a bunch or clash a fair bit, it’s not really consistent I guess but I have a decent record of finding him through that somehow
