Ok, but if you just listened to me like a good boy 2 days in a row we would have ended the game.
I think the only truly ambiguous player this game was clonedcheese right? Everyone else was pretty much sorted into correct buckets by D2.
jletendre was worth eliminating before squirrel with a guaranteed check, so him too
but it was also his first game ever
*in non-bastard circumstances
The squirrel read was kind of unfair tbh, I was discussing read accuracy (unrelated to this game) with Ellibereth and he started describing a scum tell and I’m like… Wait a minute, this is Squirrel in this game to a tee… MY ANGLESHOOT IS WRONG.
Then the green came out, and I thought Ellibereth is just a fucking ape like the rest of us.
You accused me of being mafia at least once after day 2.
I mean, the only remaining mafia was green checked? I’m not sure who I was supposed to accuse?
wanna provide context as to what exactly it was? I’m sure squirrel would like to know
Not really, I heard Elli is offering a class though.
yeah but I find it unlikely it’d include the same conversation
But hes an ape
It’s a mechanical thing, it has 0% to do with any of his actual content / text
Hes at best a marmoset
Like, Elli basically challenged me on this mechanical thing that chesskid and UFO were guilty of in Siege Of Rohan, and I just was like, ok let me apply it to this game and Squirrel was an obvious outlier.
Oh yeah both games are over now - what was the angleshoot?
I was so outed in that game l
It wasn’t valid, I knew it was weak from the start though, I was just grasping at straws to build a strong d1.
We were discussing tells that came from just seeing what existed in a data set with a focus on timestamp based tells in particular. A nice relatively simplistic one that applies in some generality is that lower frequency higher density posting is more likely to come from mafia. It applied quite nicely to almost all the mafia in the Rohan game and apparently to Squirrel here.
Keep in mind it’s probabilistic…if memory serves this and a lot of similar were found over a sample of 800ish games and I think it’s around 50/50, maybe a little bit worse. Which is of course a lot better than how an ape would do…
And yes there’ll be videos/materials on this type of thing in the academy eventually.
damn he’s real serious
Very good, glad to see you’re learning something from our talks.
