Voting out any mafia player gives us a lot of info, but some mafia players could give away more info than others.

Yeah for sure, but if we can pick between someone who’s 98% mafia that gives no info, and someone who’s 60% mafia that gives us a ton on info I’m taking the 98% any time

I totally see your rationale. For me, the what percent sure of being a mafia for who to vote out depends on how many people are left in the game. We still have a lot more towns than mafia players so at this point in the game if we make a risk and miss, we can still recover.
That being said, are you 98% sure JKBear331 is a mafia?
