And especially when we start eliminating some of the pick slots (hense me asking to spill their numbers when they are about to die), it becomes easier to make guesses on who is who, and becomes easier to leverage them into making the moves that I see fit. Does that make sense?

part of why I ask is that

‘figure out what PRs people have, then get them to do what you want’ is like … almost the exact strategy scum would want to have with regards to PRs?

Actually, iirc, I’ve never been mafia aligned in any of these games. In fact I’m pretty sure I’ve only had a PR once and the rest of the time I’ve been VT.

So like there is no basis on how I would play as mafia, not that me saying that is helping me look less guilty

I agree, I think it would have been better to vote me over squirrel. However I also know that many of us have learned not to vote squirrel out D1 (I know I try not to, I can never get a good read on him) so I wouldn’t be surprised if his vote flipped to me closer to EoD

Like I feel like this is still taking pains to avoid causing conflict but it’s just weird

also the defensiveness starts to ramp up here

If I’m being honest, I didn’t remember that you’d said anything of the sort about orange. I knew it had been brought up, but I didn’t remember who or when or anything like that.

Okay yes - looking back on it the thing that was sticking out in my head was the conversation you had with Orange that squirrel and I discussed. You are always one to prompt conversation in these games and I just blurred together all of the questions you asked people into the last one.

And I realize that I’m basically just giving excuses which is pretty annoying, but tbh this is kinda considered normal for me in these games. I have a habit of incriminating myself for saying my opinion without thinking about how others will react to it and can get defensive.

In particular the excuses for making excuses feel >rand scum-ai fme

Oh I agree, I think I’m playing very similar to my standard play style as a townie. However I learned a long time ago that basically anything I say (or don’t say) is gonna look scummy to some people and I think it’s better to just let people talk about it and show more cards.
Even if I die as town at least we can learn from what people were saying about me

I mean atm I think the most sus person to ME is erickline, but I think part of that is just a gut feeling with minimal evidence.
Who you think is sus is up to you, you could vote for me and I’d be happier than you not voting, at least you’d be making a stance

Secondarily, you’ve actually given the most thoughts on EK at this point, including a few discussions with squirrel about various groups of posts that you thought “set off flags” - why is this suddenly “just a gut feeling with minimal evidence”?
