Wait, I thought of something.
If we vote scum!cat, then it turns into a 5 v 2, then 4 v 2 at start of day, and we’re in mylo.
But if we vote town!EK who kills scum!cat (or scum!EK who kills town), it turns into a 4 v 2, then 3 v 2 at start of day, and we’re in lylo.
So if we vote EK, we need to certain who our next vote is, because we’d be in lylo the following day.
The more I think about it, this push on EK seems to be scum motivated if cat is scum.
Here’s why:
If we vote out town!EK and he kills scum!cat, that’s objectively better for scum than if we just vote out scum!cat, since thppif essentially gives them a free kill.
Furthermore, the scumteam this game has precedent for similar kinds of plays. They had arete claim acop with a fake redcheck, trading the life of a soon-to-be-outed scum for extra kills.
So if cat is scum, it seems fairly likely the main people on the EK push are scum, since it fits their mo perfectly.
Makes sense.
The thing is I’m like 75% sure EK is town and Cat is scum.
I’ll just feel really dumb if Cat is town and we are being played.
