Yes, but 1 day is still better for them than today
No no
I don’t trust that Arete is ACop
I think they’re scum ratting out a scum teammate, at least I kinda did when i voted
I think regardless of Arete’s alignment though they do know that bep is scum
if bep is town then chop chop Arete
currently a 10v3, losing bep + 2 nightkills would be a 7v2
I think we can win a 7v2
Okay, so what’s the harm in voting for EK this vote, then if he flips mafia, go for him next, and then Bepwei the next vote or of EK flips town voting out Bepwei next?
We could always vote Bepwei, and then vote Arete afterward regardless of what alignment Bepwei is
I don’t see how EK’s alignment helps much with Bep’s
I say we chop chop Bep since they’re practically outed scum, and do EK/Arete afterwards
But
So either way you will think Arete is scum. So why don’t we go for EK right now just to be sure?
Go to EoD and pay attention to when Arete said that he checked EK and found that he was town. This proves that the two are aligned so by voting out EK we know Arete’s alignment without needing to risk voting out the Alignment Cop
I dislike arete’s claim; I think it could easily be scum trying to buy an extra day to live.
That said, in the current absence of a counterclaim for the slot, I think that Bepwei is a decent kill. If there is a counterclaim, I will vote arete.
however, my activity will be spotty today and tomorrow. Since majority is enabled, I will not be voting today (the chronological day, not d3), as I don’t want to risk hammer while I’m away. In addition, I think we should also give more time for people to counterclaim if possible.
I will vote, just not yet.
reminder that scum Tracker may exist in the form of Arete
…Why would you vote out someone that’s claimed to be town?
And furthermore
This is the exact opposite conclusion I came to, since scum likes to pocket people with fake checks
Arete is scummy. I fear that lets say we vote out Arete and he’s telling the truth, then we lost our A-cop. I’m trying to make sure we can guarantee his alignment before we make a move like that.
Hold on
Of course - I’m not saying the inverse is true (arete’s confirmed because there’s no cc)
He said Eric is town. That’s evidence that they’re the same alignment because either this means he’s a townie telling the truth or he’s a scum trying to help his scum friend.
I agree that scum!ek means scum!arete
But does town!ek mean town!arete?
Because I think town!Eric and scum!arete is a very real possibility - after all, scum would know exactly how everyone would appear to acop
If EK is a townie, then he is telling the truth about being the A-cop. That being said, I do see your point that he could be a mafia and EK could be town without EK targeting him.
Yes, that’s a possibility, but I don’t see it as being super likely.
