Okay wait, while voting EK May be the best way to proceed statistically, I don’t have a strong reason to believe EK is mafia.
Cat is still the right move, absolutely no voting EK. No. Why would we vote someone who we THINK is town just because they aren’t confirmed when we could vote out someone we THINK is scum. The point is to kill the mafia, not play a guessing game.

In fact I think this latent push on EK is probably scum trying to convince town to vote out a town instead of a scum so we lose for sure.

Ummm… this entire game is a guessing games.
We just try our best to make educated guesses. We are guessing that EK is town and cat is scum. But we have all played this game enough to know that we are wrong a lot of the time.
What voting EK does is allows us to be wrong about him and still have another day in the game. Where as, if we are wrong about cat…its game over.
But this makes the fundamental assumption that catty is infact scum. EITHER way they have to be scum for us to make it another night.
So if you feel confident enough to kill me to kill catty, why not just kill catty.
Because we kill two people with one vote, purely mechanical
