Kebap Mafia - Endgame

Just make all mafia lone wolves.

That’s never been done before, right @Arete?

Actually, they do. You gotta get the “reaction test” from a licensed retailer though. Counterfeit tests don’t get warranties.

And I bet Seth torrents them illegally.

@StarV thinking about it, I think the claim was flawed not only due to the playerlist, but the number of players as well. It’s difficult enough to get 7 of 10 townies aligned on a correct lynch, so you don’t have a lot of room for fancy play. The fake claim caused a lot of unnecessary confusion, and getting everyone realigned after that would have been tough.

Nah reaction tests always suck, you should just focus on reading people correctly without needing to interact with them.

If Seth claimed cop and guiltied both Phraze and Doggo and doubled down on his bets he would’ve certainly been MVP.

Then again, that wouldn’t be a “reaction test” but rather what’s known on MafiaUniverse as an FPS I suppose.

It’s the best way tbh

Then you get to hear “but you didn’t even talk to me” from either alignment and it’s fun!

I don’t entirely agree, if the argument is that fancy plays are worse in general to just a strong straightforward game, then I agree. I don’t think the player count mattered, if anything, the player count added to the justification of why people can’t possibly scum read me due the size of the wagon & similarity to the day 1.

I mean, enough players found me as town for me to not get lynched. Elli gave me a town read as well, I had the exact same wagon as chesskid3. Like, in this world, I could never be scum, because some of the factors are out of my control, it would require not only good gameplay from me, but bad gameplay from others (including some that always play the same - Elli). The fact is, I only got lynched because Andres knew I was town and voted anyway when the wagon was dead, he stuck with it. Other players who didn’t know better joined in, but they should have known better because of the amount of external (non-me) factors pointed to me being town.

So, it is a player list thing and not player count.

I voted you for cohesion above read. Call it policy. There’s something to be said in the long run about not letting people survive that backtrack on a red check.

I mean, I think we already came to an understanding of what happened and, I am adamant that 1) yes, fancy plays in general are worse than just being good and 2) The player list in this game is the only thing that makes the play bad, because town should never lynch me there.

Yeah we’re good. Hey, my rating this game is based on what, 2 Town votes and death, together with a mid-day vote of Town? Like I said, piss poor.

I should have sticked with my Scientist Fake Claim LMAO.
I was VT

I’m surprised I don’t know why’s Doggo didn’t fall for my bait

If only I forgot about the Doggo message I never would have retracted.

The thing is though, even if we take it as a given that you’re town, you become the compromise lynch. If we want to lynch someone else, we have to find a person that most townies can agree with. At the end of the day, that was just not possible.

It’s like when you order food. The more people are involved, the more likely it is that you end up ordering Italian, even though it’s close to the worst possible option.

It doesn’t help that the stakes were low either, what with it only being d2.

that game sounds like survivor

It was obvious bait, sorry

I asked gtacc about wut “clean the kill” meant, and gtacc just sent a shrug emoji or something so I knew it was fake
