I’m actually probably ok with screen hammering tbh.
We should be designating a hammer though. Anyone that hammers out of line should be treated as claiming scum imo.

it’s like everyone on the m2h wagon is trying to make this as obvious as possible
So today was date day and tonight is vodka neighborhood tour.
Prop pinged me early but I don’t remember why. Not seeing anything now but have the power scumming feeling.
Chess calling nanook lock town for no reason is scumy and something he does as scum.
#srceenhammers
I am not a fan of this type of play.
I have claimed my ring fwiw.
Who should I target tonight?
Probably shouldn’t use rings unless it’s super pro town (i.e. an alignment investigation).
Why not? We have two uses before we have to swap. My ring creates a private topic between me and another person for a day and night phase
you should not be claiming what your ring does
I see no issue with claiming this ring.
if you’re town scum know that using blocking actions on you are now 100% a waste
We don’t even know that scum blocking actions are in the game.
It also creates an issue where scum can narrow in on who has a useful ring if too many people claim less useful ones.
The reason you don’t use rings unless they’re useful is a) you tell scum exactly where a ring is and b) if you use it twice you’re telegraphing that you either don’t have a passive ability or you don’t have a useful one, not to mention neutering it even if you do have a useful one.
So yeah I’m pretty against ring usage unless that usage is super pro town, i.e. an alignment investigation, and then you use it once and pass it to your strongest townread.
I don’t get how using a ring in any way says that you don’t have a passive?
Sorry got a bit garbled. Was trying to say in part b. that using them twice means you don’t have a passive ability that night and suggests to scum that you don’t have a useful passive ability, since presumably you wouldn’t want to cripple a useful passive ability.
Everyone has at least one passive ability per the rules. I just got a bit lost in what I was trying to say lol
The rules also suggest that at least one ring has a blocking ability of some sort.
I still don’t understand how it crippled your passive. My role says nothing of the sort
Read the rules
