I’m not sure what you mean by backtracking. I hold the same position I did half an hour ago.

  • beeboy’s analysis doesn’t make sense to me.
  • But there’s three other players (who I think probably have better reads than me) on the wagon, so maybe there’s something there.
  • I don’t feel strongly enough about this to vote there over my personal lack of scumread, so I won’t.

If I’m not wrong, Dan has already given out 3 concrete reads. He’s called beeboy and you Town, and StarV Scum (#134, #206, #209). I’m just willing to gamble that Dan wouldn’t be doing that as Scum. I could be wrong - it’s just an early opinion.

Actually, I went and I looked, and in Parity Cop (3, 4) 9’er, he said this:

“I snap read people as town me or scum me on occasion. Other times I don’t.” [Post No. 74].

He was Town that game. He threw a snap (correct) read in Demonic Mafia when he was Scum [Post No. 134]. So yeah, you’re right in that it’s maybe not as alignment indicative as I’m making it out to be. However, I have noticed that Dan does not like to attract attention early as Scum. Which would be a bit more difficult if you’re putting a lot of snap reads out there. So that’s also coloring it.
