Well you played well. Neymar needs a big Cross against his name.
But it could have gone a lot of different ways.
You may have targeted urist tonight and got another scum to keep you company.
I was probably gonna kill skitters, and try to lynch Urist the next day as the continuation of my “there’s scum in one of the neighborhoods” tangents. I didn’t really want to kill Urist, both because he was an ally in thread, and because I thought I could probably get him lynched if it came to it.
I can answer for him maybe… in that he didnt care if he was recruited. Sounded like he wanted to be… but that’s when he thought there were 2 mafia left
Ah yeah, forgot about that! I dunno. I hadn’t fully planned out my night actions yet, I was pretty focused on just trying to get through the day and ram home an Andres execution first. Yeah, that would’ve been a touch choice, but since cats had claimed their ability fires off even if they die…I probably still kill skitters to get rid of the JK. Or I no-kill, depending on whom she was jailing, which I can’t recall off the top of my head.
If Nanook killed skitter and I got a guilty 3rd party reading on Urist, we probably would have lynched Urist tomorrow, that would be getting close to a win for Nanook.
I had the feeling that Andres genuinely believed he was a mason. Given that we had a precedent in DS not reading his role PM, and the fact that he was in agony over the constant pressure, I thought it best to clarify.
I’m glad it made the game more exciting and down to the wire.
If I’m being honest, I got paranoid of AD for like a split second after the message, and blinked. In the back of my mind I knew we weren’t Confirmed Town to each other, but I also knew that we were like 99% Town given our roles and there was no reason not to go along with the Mason claim. But I just… doubted myself. It ended up working out, but man it almost backfired massively.
