I’m not really sure what to do here. I know that what I’m seeing isn’t outside the scumrange of either Nanook or Andres, but I do understand where they’re both coming from.
I understand where Nanook is coming from for reasons that I’ve already stated. But I also get why Andres would go along with the mason claim if they have the same role.
@Andresvmb Didn’t you say earlier that you felt like a fool for accepting the mason aspect as a given and not clarifying with the mod? It seems like you’re saying now that you knew the whole time.
Yeah it was after the fact. Also think about it right. My Scum tactic this game was to fake claim Mason with a Town player, only to undercut my own claim by sharing that it was a neighborhood and not a masonry? And then also to admit that I used my Vig on the same player that was NK’ed? Why in the world would I do all these things?
You’re addressing arguments I’m not making but that are close enough to arguments I am making to get away with it if people aren’t paying close enough attention.

Doesn’t actually address my point! Unless AD said this in the mason chat, all it shows is that AD knew, not that you knew he knew, so it can’t be a point against your motivation to reveal unless you’re a mind reader (or lying about other things).
This is a conclusion that was reached by Cats. You can just read up above. And AD responded to this by saying that it was effectively true. I’m not twisting anybody’s words.
But why would I go along with a fake Mason claim to then undercut the claim made by the Town player I have pocketed? You need to explain that to get yourself to yeah, Andrés is Scum.
If you’re scum, you had no way of knowing if AD genuinely thought you were masons or if he was faking it, since, according to you, he didn’t post in your neighborhood that you weren’t actual masons. So scumAndres, without knowing whether AD is using a ploy or if he’s going to be caught unawares by the GM message to the neighborhood, HAS to publicize it, or he risks being basically outed as scum to AD for not doing so.
It’s really fucking straightforward and I’m not going to waste any more time explaining what should be obvious.
So, in this world where I’m Scum, I’ve done the following:
i) Voted my Scum buddy and hammered them without looking at the Vote Count.
ii) Allowed a fake claim of Mason to be done by the Town player I have successfully pocketed in a neighborhood that I created after that player left clues that we should connect, without confirming with them whether or not they know that we’re not actually Masons, potentially setting myself up for complete disaster when it comes out (either via a lynch or some other eventuality like this one).
iii) Announce publicly that I Vigged the player that overlapped with the NK, when the Town watcher had been lynched (who also was unable to watch who NK’ed Erika mind you), when I could have either lied about using my ability (or who I targeted even) or have AD use his Vig shot first. Or if I suspected that there was a Town protective, at least try to convince him to use it at the same time as me since, you know, if I successfully convince him to target someone at the same time as me it becomes a Strongman shot (which is confirmed by both him and me btw).
I’m arguing that all this is not likely. So sure I screwed up with revealing the neighborhood. But I’m not stupid. And this is arguing that I am.
I’ll read some of the back and forth later, but I don’t think as scum Andres would feel compelled to reveal we weren’t masons after the MS message on pain of me thinking he’s scum, since though I didn’t explicitly state that I absolutely knew exactly that we weren’t masons, it should reasonably have been assumed I knew. (we know each other in real life, and we have high enough opinions of each other that that didn’t need to be said, and at the very least I didn’t think it did).
Lynching me is better than this. Can you explain why you want to do this? My argument with Nanook is probably not going to be resolved over night, and nobody is asking Cats to Cop search either Dan or me. So how is this better?
Because I still believe you both to be town because of that scum role.

Actually @Srceenplay should ask the mod whether his immunization can be blocked. I assume it can be, which would allow cats to inspect me unperturbed.
