Deep Space 9 Mafia - Game Over!

@Nanook
Stop trying to argue against a lynch and try to argue for one.

I agree.
Nanook does seem to argue against players just for the sake of argument.
Is he doing it as scum to look busy?
Would he do it as scum to defend a scum mate?
Probably not.
So?
If he is agruing against lynching AD & Josh then they are probably not scum buddies with him.

Admittedly I think he does just like to be argumentitive.
I guess that is why I havenā€™t voted him (yet)

Been skimming.

I donā€™t see much point in lynching AD, other than advancing the game by one lynch of a player who isnā€™t contributing much for whatever personal reason. Lurking hasnā€™t, imo, been a viable scum tactic since about 2010. Scum are usually eager to be seen itt and influencing hearts and minds.

I feel catspurrā€™s pain - I know most of you are used to these longass endless days, but a few of us are veterans of 24-12 games, and days this stretched out are like sitting in a dentistā€™s office forever. I think if she were scum sheā€™d be more entertained and less inclined to banging her head on the wall.

Someone point out screenplayā€™s scumminess?

Urist seems to be trying to scum hunt. Muffins seems to be just rolling with the thread. (Urist, have I played on another board with you in the past?)

Mantis prob. town imo, which may be coloured by her being a familiar landmark.

More soon.

probably yes

Kind of what I was thinking.

possibly yes actually

Says the player who has posted 3 times in 72 hours (slight exaggeration)

feel like this sort of (probably faulty) empirical assertion is unsubstantiated

do you have scum reads?

Well, I am. As scum, I mean, eager to be visible and influencing people. And Iā€™m quite used to seeing that tactic in many other players. Some just ride the thread being amiable, but they will be there and obvious.

I donā€™t! But if I havenā€™t specifically said someone looks at least a bit townish, I either havenā€™t looked at them or regard them with faint suspicion. It may be a long D1 but itā€™s still a day one, and I suck at reads D1.

WRONG!

There are two words you have to post that absolve you of any responsibility for your vote.

Quote some townreadā€™s post, with the words ā€œSync Achievedā€ and you can vote for them.

I even have a reads list that is fairly convenient you can quote~

Maybe I should have specified that lurking is inherently scummy in long games where scum tends to run out of steam before the day is through.
I doubt weā€™ve played together before, Iā€™ve never been on MR.

Iā€™m probably dimly recalling someone with a similar user name at ratskep.

Iā€™m likely to run out of steam as any alignment in this long day games. :frowning:
So I donā€™t see lurking as inherently scummy unless itā€™s a player who has a history of doing that as scum, in which case they are a terrible player if they canā€™t learn and their team should bus themā€¦

Um, so vote AD

What do you think of cats @smilodon?

@_fferyllt knock knock

Thanks for reminding me.
UNVOTE: ActionDan since heā€™s getting replaced.

catspurr? Already said above. I think town, trying to scum hunt, hates untimed as much as I do, would be less complaining if scum because she could hang out with her team and strategise.

I realise that isnā€™t very objective, but itā€™s all I got until a few people have been kilt.

Orā€¦ I love cats! Mine is 14 and a mighty hunter.

Have you not figured out who I am B?
Mantis and pyx figured it out day one wthout any prompting.

I agree and I disagree.
It drives me up the wall but seems fair enough as well.
UGG.

If ActionDans slot is scummy, why does changng the player change anything?
But it does.
I had Nannok as scum fro day one when he was the other player.
Everything he did confimed that slot was scum.

And then it turned out he was town and I was red of face and eating my words and all that.
Farrrkkkk Farrrrrkkā€™
Psycho Chicken Keska Say.
Better run run run away.
