I’m not sure either. I Would prefer if he stayed in
What are your thoughts on ffery?
The catspurr wagon is really awful. Mantis, why are you not voting for ActionDan?
The excuse that “it’s not very informative” is not great. Like this is why lurking is such a great strategy for scum, people refuse to lynch you because your lynch doesn’t give enough info.
i don’t really understand why catspurr’s recent posts would make you unvote if the rest of their content didn’t… like, there’s plenty better reasons to assume catspurr is town and the recent content has all been null lol
avg mod
@Nanook how can you say that catspurr is a solid wagon when the only people on it are you, ActionDan (absentee), and Josh (who clearly doesn’t care)?
Also, how can you say that an ActionDan lynch wouldn’t give us info? I thought about it for 10 minutes, and came up with the following:
- Mantis is calling AD scummy without joining the wagon. This makes it more likely for them to be the same alignment.
- Nanook is defending AD with crappy reasons, makes it more likely for them to be the same alignment.
- Cabd is drawing attention to the fact that he has AD as town. Also questioned muffin’s reason for voting AD but doesn’t seem too interested in derailing the wagon. Scummy if AD is actually town.
- Urist called AD town, then did a 180 and started calling him scum. I will probably eat shit for this if he flips town.
That’s without reading the thread. I’m sure I could find more if I actually read through AD’s stuff, or read through the stuff of the people voting for him (Srceen, cats, Andres).
‘more likely to be the same alignment’ as in more likely to both be town?
Wrong conclusion, but I think the way he got there is OK? I’d say off target town probably more likely than scum at this point.
It’s a genuine moment of frustration. That isn’t necessarily AI, but…it’s worth unvoting and trying to figure whether it is or not, no?
Eh, maybe I’m undervaluing the AD wagon…but yeah, in general I’m going to say that AD is a lower information lynch, because in general lynching a lurker is lower information than lynching somebody active.
Like, you point out that I’m defending him—OK, but I’m not actually defending him specifically, am I? I’m defending lurkers in general. So can you really draw conclusions from that, when the arguments I’m making apply to any lurker?
Or even yourself—we learn basically nothing about you if we flip AD, cause your vote is primarily for lurking rather than for scumminess. So if AD flips blue…”whoops, guess I was wrong, but he really should have been more active”…and if he flips red…that still doesn’t tell us much, cause lynching a lurking teammate is fairly common scum play.
Like, under the right circumstances, lynching a lurker is perfectly fine and good…I just don’t think it’s late enough in the day to fall back to that yet.
As in if AD flips town they are more likely to be town, but if AD flips scum they are more likely to be scum.
UNVOTE: catspurr
I’ll probably end up here. Still waiting for more from him though
I care
^lies
why is that so? why can’t one of them be town and one of them be scum?
VC 1-29
ActionDan: 4 (Srceenplay, catspurr, Andresvmb, Urist)
catspurr: 2(ActionDan, Josh)
Srceenplay: 1(MetalSonic)
Andresvmb: 1 (parsec)
Nanook: 1 (Cabd)
Not voting: 4 (smilodon, _fferyllt, Nanook, Mantis)
With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

Mod Notes:
I’m not saying they can’t be, just that their actions make more sense from being the same alignment as AD.
This seems kinda silly to me, fwiw. Town accidentally defends scum all the time, and scum will purposely defend town on occasion too.
I’d agree we’re unlikely to both be scum FYPOV (obviously I know there’s 0% chance of it from my POV ), but I’m not sure why FYPOV one of us can’t be scum and the other town.
ISO’d MS. lots of fluff.
#774 says they strongly agree with muffins reads but they are still voting me.
