Deep Space 9 Mafia - Game Over!

hello.

why wouldnt they redirect to yourself if their goal was to roleblock? why risk a protective?

scum wouldn’t have known your role and therefore couldn’t have specifically redirected you though? “important enough to attract a scum redirector” is bad posturing even for you

he knows it’s not true, lol

jesus christ why are you *** unvoting ms, this is his scum game and it’s not even good play. it’s his fucking slimy bullshit he pulls every time.

lol ok

VOTE: metal sonic

town
Urist Josh

Well you’re wrong. I just haven’t yet decided if it’s a town mistake or not. And we’re all there pretty much, except for the mafia, who are pretty clear about it, like you.

I am town. Were I scum I would certainly have been on the smilodon wagon, right there with Judge and Mantis.

smilodon: 7 (Urist, Nanook, Andresvbm, Judge Mental, Mantis, catspurr, Screenplay)

But I can comletely agree that for Judge that was a mercy killing, But then look who led the wagon. YOU, hoping over from Josh when the cabd wagon only needed 1 more, Scum!Nanook, and Andres.

Cabd: 6 (Andresvmb, Mantis, Josh, Judge Mental, Srceenplay, Nanook)

Ordinarilly I’d think your NOT hammering cabd would look good for you (esp since you had said, "Cabd is a meh lynch. His ISO is uninspiring but I’m almost certain he’s not scum ", and, “Josh and Srceen are both on the wagon and I think they’re both scum.”.
It’s just that as Sum!Nanook was the last vote on cabd I’d think scum would be very reluctant to hammer, whether cabd is town or if it was a bus. In other words, if cabd is mafia why 2 scum hammer when there’s NO town cred from it and they might just as easily spare one of their own. OR, id cabd is town, why would you hammer when you’ve just expressed that you think scum are very much in favour of it. That too would have you looking scummy.

Once you move on smilodon, Scum!Nanook quickly follows (so as not to get caught where he was on cabd), Andres 2 minutes later, Judge (saying, “why remove an absent player? a no lynch would be better, no?”, your reply of, “nah. if we remove the absent player now, we don’t have to worry about removing the absent player later.”, and a bit of a goad from Mantis and Scum!Nanook), then Mantis, catspurr (with a, “Bor I am so sorry”), and Screenplay with the hammer 1 minute after cats.

I HATE the MR players being there when they KNOW smilodon is an easy D1 lynch and she had expressed she’d have more time the next day and that she loved her cat. Mantis even avoided a read on smilodon, saying that AKFD was a bit on the scummy side, then simply, “Looks like this is happening”). Mantis and cats look terrible there, esp. when cats had previously voted to no-lynch. But yeah, I’m with the crew still reading cats as town.

Just to be clear, that’s Metal at 4, pyx at 3, with 6 needed to lynch and a day and a half left in time.

@MetalSonic you should fullclaim, before pyx and Cabd jump on the wagon and lynch you.

Bolded- you make it sound like you know Judge & I are town.

How so? 'Cause I don’t see it.

why did you revote? what changed in the short period of time that gave you such a sudden enlightenment then made you retract the game-winning play?

because theres no such thing

it’s time to lynch josh

josh is scum because town-josh never lynches me here

yes, because they saw the accidental softclaim that mantis even saw and highlighted earlier.

pyx’s last post convinces me that he is town

therefore currently i believe the following people are town:
{urist, mantis, andres, pyx, catspurr}

the following I would think they’re town normally but now I have doubts on their alignment:
{screenplay, judgemental, cabd}

the following i think are playing to a scum win condition:
{josh}

we shouldl ynch josh as we should have yeasterday

sorry urist but i dont think pyx is scum after his last post

Pyx, I hopped because with Urist and Nanook off the Cabd wagon, I thought it would be unlikely that we would achieve a Cabd lynch with such limited time left (and I thought it was necessary to lynch someone I was not Town reading to move the game forward). I was also falling asleep at the time (you will notice that I put the vote down and disappeared). I regret not having questioned it more.

You also shouldn’t ignore that Srceenplay in #1525 is the first person to introduce Smilodon as a viable alternative, which I argued should be Cabd instead (with a vote on #1528).

I don’t know if I agree that there would have been no Town cred from lynching a fellow Scum player (should Cabd be Scum). I think that if we had achieved a lynch of Cabd and he flips Scum, we would have looked closely at those that were around but did not vote first, before considering those that stalled but ended up voting. It’s just a feeling - I can’t say for sure. It certainly buys you some time if you spin it correctly. If Cabd is Town, then Urist hammering there next to Nanook, after stating that there’s Scum on the wagon, is probably a bad idea.

You know, your entire analysis rests on Urist being Scum with Nanook, and it’s based on where they were in the wagons at the end of the day. And it’s not the easiest sell. Nanook could have been buddying Urist up there at the end to make him look bad later. Don’t get me wrong, I have certainly argued that it’s possible that Urist is Scum. And those end of day interactions still make me question Urist’s alignment. I just don’t know.

No one else is poo pooing the smilodon lynch. It happened because we were pressed for time and needed a lynch. It would have been ridiculous to have a no lynch after 2 weeks. This was all talked about in the thread
