Nah, votes mean so much more in Majority. Every vote might be the one you’re stuck with, especially if it puts the person within a couple votes of being lynched. With plurality, you can just move your vote a minute before deadline.
There was no utility or purpose behind the fake claim in flipflap, the only info srceen took from it is that my reaction looked fake, but I was town so. The claim did end up being somewhat useful in the end, but it was in a way that srceen neither expected nor detected. I would go as far as to say that the claim here is at least as senseless as the one in flippers.
the nanook ‘lurker’ thing, the ‘i am very concerned there seems to be a wagon forming on urist oh no what if a scum voted on them (which is definitely not me btw)’ thing
I dunno, maybe it wasn’t helpful in the way he thought it would be…but I could, at the time, see how it could’ve been helpful. This is about what I thought of it, not what he did, isn’t it? In flip flappers, I saw how a fake claim could potentially have been helpful…here, I didn’t, not for town.
Struggling a bit with that. I still like my cats read more, cause I’m not sure how much of a screen vote is a “fuck you for doing something that doesn’t make sense” vote, but he’s on my lynch radar.
andres stance on cats/screenplay has multiple holes: how can he be only focused on the screenplay claim and say cats is likely village then suddenly remember cats has been playing wolfy without considering it first, and why does he imply screenplay would be a wolf if he was lying, and then go on to say he has seen screenplay lie before about his claim as village.
It has holes because… this is D1, and I’m trying to figure out what I think. I didn’t “forget”. First, I worked through the implications of the claim and initially took it at face value (#249), which led me to the conclusion that Cats was Town. However, I later decided the Claim was probably false, worked through my view of Cats’ posts (#261), casted a vote on Cats (#285), received some responses from Cats that made me question my view, unvoted (#327), and will now make up my mind about where I ultimately land after working through the posts once more.
When did I imply that Srceenplay would be wolf if he is lying? I plainly stated that I had a negative lean on him because I am skeptical of his claim (#332). However, I have seen Srceenplay gambit before as Town, so the lie itself doesn’t necessarily mean that he is Scum (Urist referenced the game, feel free to look). However, I made a distinction about the feel of the gambit, which justifies my negative lean (#334). Do you… read anything I write? Or are you just convinced I am Scum because I made a joke on the second post? Do you really think that I, as Scum, would be bad enough to reveal us as partners that quickly? It’s mildly insulting, frankly.
If you need a step by step description of the joke, here it is: I know I’m Town. I don’t know Cats’ alignment. I try calming him down because we just had a game were I was able to deceive him into thinking I was Town when in fact, I was Scum. However, the calming statement doesn’t work if he’s Scum. Because (i) he would already know my alignment, and (ii) we very obviously wouldn’t be on the same side. Why don’t you try and make an argument that isn’t overly focused on a joke? Or completely misrepresents how I arrived where I did?
Given your Miller claim, I am trying really hard to get you to help Town and look past me. If you can’t, it is what it is, but you will forgive me if I ignore most of what you say.
I am going to ISO Cats, Nanook and Mantis next, and work through what I see.
Last time I voted you, you turned up then disappeared again.
I kinda want you to be town but you have to put more effort in.
Maybe this will ginger you up?
VOTE; METAL SONIC.
And if you were a horse you know what they do with ginger?
